Sharks fan here in NC, Can't wait to go see this game.
$2.66 million salary retained for Burns, and Sharks get an AHL champion goalie prospect without NHL experience, and fourth line grit player Steve Lorentz. Did they need $5.33 million cap space that badly? For what UFA player? Adding more defensive minded players after giving up your best defenseman in Burns is an illogical move. This was a swindle of Mike Grier in terms of return to Sharks by Carolina GM Don Waddell, including the "lower" of Carolina's two third round 2023 draft picks in the condition. Adding Oskar Lindblom is another questionable move, what is Mike Grier doing? Will any of these moves increase Sharks scoring?
What did I miss? Did the Sharks sign Michael Haley?
