Sean Durzi spent like 50k getting 200+ family and friends only to get dunked on by Engvall and lose 5-0 lol

  2. frmacleod

I don’t know how to process how good the Leafs are right now. My brain can’t compute it. And with all these injuries.

  3. GoatStimulator_

I know everyone will disagree with me, but that interference on Robertson was dangerous.

Edit: I say that because I got DESTROYED for that opinion on r/hockey

Back-to-back shutouts with two different goalies. Can’t remember the last time I’ve seen the Leafs do that. And with two guys that the hockey world thought were mistakes by Leafs management.

    Another entertaining game though!

Really could have been one of those games where the Leafs get a ton of chances but don’t score and then the other team scores a flukey one to gain all the momentum, but the Leafs were steady on the rudder and were rewarded with three quick goals in the 2nd period, which also really got the crowd into the game.

Things also could have went sideways after Engvall’s karate stick chop, but the great PKing continues and stifled a red-hot Kings PP for 5 mins straight. Also got the crowd into again by booing Durzi, which was fun to listen to.

But that’s another nice win for the Leafs that also included Marner extending his point streak.

Let’s keep it going on Saturday against the Flames!

We should be unwavering from this point forward because it’s clear what we have to do now to get to the promised land—do away with Dubas.

Correction: do the way of Dubas.

Ilya « Matt Murray » Samsonav

  7. OrangeOclock

We have not been scored on in DAYS 🙂

  8. Broton55

What did engvall do? Deliberate injury??

  9. ieastass69

    matt Murray: *gets a shutout*

    Ilya samsonov: iight bet

  10. yourejustanasshole

The Leafs may never get scored on again

  11. BCharmer

I have some smiles right now.

Who said we had a 1B? It’s 1A and 1A all fucking day.

  12. Level_Exercise_3939

NYLANDER IS A PPG RIGHT NOW AND NOBODY IS TALKING ABOUT IT.

  13. PrimoThePro

    # THE STEAK CONTINUES TO SIZZLE

  14. cbal41990

100% Perfect game all areas I’m still all smiles

  15. Kinglokner16

Is Sheldon Keefe is the best Leafs coach since Pat Quinn

  16. Shabloinks

Back to back shutouts. Feels so good to have a solid tandem. Hopefully they can keep it up. MITCHY BOY WITH 21.

Engvall, bruh what is you doing????

  17. GopnikSmegmaBBQSauce

Back to back shutouts, 3rd in the league as of right now, still defensive injuries… Kings aren’t that bad a team either and neither is Dallas, I don’t get it but I like it

  18. Jonesdeclectice

Fun fact, since Timmins came in, we’ve gone 2-0 with a 0.0GAA and 1.000sv% LOL

  19. labadee

I wouldn’t have blamed them if they threw up a stinker after a quick west coast trip. But they dominated from start to finish. What a team win

  20. Murry with the shutout.

    Sammy: hold my beer

  21. SmokeontheHorizon

Best pair of games in a long fucking time. I don’t even know if we got a single shutout last season, but these two are absolutely memorable.

TO MURRCULES AND THE MIGHTY SAMSONOV!

  22. squinla3

All Smiles and Mad Dog, the goaltending tandem the leafs never knew they needed!

  23. Shutouts with two different goaltenders in the last two games. Dubas took a massive W this offseason.

  24. HighandHistorical

LOOKS LIKE SHUTOUTS ARE BACK ON THE MENU BOYS!!!!!

  25. Professional-Putz

I’m really enjoying Mike Johnson on colour for TSN. I really miss Ray but I like how hype Mike gets on exciting plays.

  26. A-Random-Leafs-Fan

I am so sick that I almost pooped my pants twice but I still got up for this game. Unreal how good these guys are playing and the goaltending is just awesome. Can we please sign Dubas to a contract already.

A joy to watch this game…And even though the D has been playing well, it is great to have the calm and steady Brodie back there again. For all of the Engvall critics…My guess is you won’t have to watch him for 2-4 games of suspension.

  29. FightDrifterFight

Just a brutal yet meticulous, business-like approach to that win. Showed up to win, expected to win, played to win. Just an amazing game. Also, 9-0 weekday stretch is not a bad way to go into the weekend. Love this team!

  30. Crossland09

That goal from Marner should always be known as ‘The Buttsauce!’

  31. ElephantShell34

Sean Durzi really paid for 200 friends and family to come watch him get whacked in the back of the head with a stick then get booed every time he touched the puck while his team lost 5-0. Tough break.

  32. bifteksupernova

    3 stars

    3. Mike Johnson saying « butt sauce »
    2. Bieber in that outfit sitting in a spectator seat
    1. Fans uniting to boo Durzi every time he touched the puck

  33. hhhhbkaew

What Marner did was straight up disrespectful and I’m 1000% for it

  34. ajramone

If this game is the statement that were not going to get bodied anymore I’m all in. Shoutout to bunts for best non-verbal chirp from the bench with that gesticulation!

  35. xChainfirex

9 goals in the last two games… back to back shutouts for our goaltending tandem…Marner continues his point streak.

I’m straight up having a good time! 😀
