This is seriously the most bi-polar Kings team in a long time. Play a great game then follow it up with a dud. They are incapable of building on their momentum from game to game.
The Leafs absolutely destroyed LA. Pretty disappointed…
Leafs are a Cup contender while the Kings are not. Leafs are among the 5 or 6 best teams in NHL, while Kings may be considered top 15-18 so far, not top 5. Kings kept Leafs off the scoreboard for awhile despite being in D zone so much & then the Leafs scored 3 goals in a few minutes, game over. Kings fans are unrealistic; team is a little above average but needs much improvement in goal & D in order to contend for a Cup. Maybe 2-3 yrs away…
Kings couldn't even score which I think is the real sign of things to come. The Gabe when was on pace for 50 goals they decided to have him play with Lizotte along with Grundstrom. Walker is career -40 but they continue to play trash like him with Durzi on his off side? Really Jacob Moverare should be playing over him its not even close. If can't trade the undrafted unersized Walker then send him to AHL where belongs with Spence or other Oompa Loompas. Anybody that thinks they are Better Than Durzi remember he was an Even in Maple Leafs game unlike most roster. Quick is washed up as Starting Goalie so not having Copley start game they had no chance to win was a waste. Losing 7 of 10 if Vancouver passes them. Clarke to Juniors No Brainer he is not even Helgra Grans level. Jordan Spence clearly is not NHL player if its even a question about keeping Clarke on roster or burning a year of his ELC. Walker along with Roy its not going to work playing a RHD on the LD or off side. Unless LAK trades for CArson Soucy or Chicken or Bjugstad I don't think I'd expect Post Season. Central if they keep struggling might be enough for a Wild Card. Funny Turcotte 5th Overall Bust is playing Wing on 3rd line in ONtario. LA had all these Great Centers now only Helenius is on REign who I think could help 3rd/4th line along with PK.
The CAlTanic can hope to be Burke who had his career salvaged around 30ish but guy was an Elite Goalie or Starter prior to that on Devils. HE would lost it when letup a goal kinda like Drago from Rocky as his weakness. Least Nashville lost to TAmpa in regulation as going to have to stay ahead of that Division to keep WC. At this point Quick will be lucky to get any team to give him a chance way is playing. Unless he finds the Fountain of Youth I'm thinking 750K to 1M maybe 1.5M to 3M at most as nobody is paying him 4 or more Million haha. I remember waking up to see it was 4 1 only for the goal to be taken away from Off Sides. Brordeur was playing in SCF in 40s but JQ is done his style dated reckless reflexes slowed. Seeing how hostile many LAKI are to Durzi thinking or believing Spence or Clarke if not both are better or have more upside hehe. QB is not even remotely able to be 3rd line center in NHL or physical enough to be 4th liner. Long as is playing hunched over with smallest stick ever recorded in NHL it wont happen. Guy can't dominate as he isn't good enough to play in AHL or NHL for that matter. Bringing up should not even be an option compared to trading to get Bjugstad a legit 3rd line Center/RW who can play PK or PP. When you only have 8 games with 5 shots its clear your not ready. Jacob Moverare had 5 shots in single game. I'd rather Helenius paying over Lizotte if its 4th line center as great Reach/Range on PK unlike QB. Ward I'd like to see called up as ready to play out of college like Iafallo RW who can play Center. Kempe if he can play 15 minute on 3rd line helps Danault along with Kopitar not play 20 limiting Lizzy to 5 to 10 range. Also all the 3rd line Kempe, AI, Vilardi can play PP with Kempe 3 SHGs last year second to Moore 5 and AI. Quantum Bust a Liability on PP who can't play PK making it hard to put him in lineup. Lemieux is going to return which means its basically he plays or Lizotte or somebody has to sit out. I thought Mike was more than fair with his evaluation for Cal. Nobody in NHL wants any of the LAK Goalies for a reason. You should get Cloutier as he equates most to Peterson from people complaining.
