Definitively outplayed by a mostly AHL lineup but a wins a wins a win, baby! Definitely need to change line 2 and 3 up a bit though. Absolutely fucking no chemistry whatsoever on those lines.
If only we had a young prospect to play on the 3rd line who has experience with Trocheck…oh well.
Igor looking more like himself. Defense seems to be cleaned up these past few games too. Hopefully a sign of good things to come

I think they knew they could beat Georgie in a shoot out. OT they played like they were wanting to go to a shootout.
Really did not expect the Rangers to sweep the Vegas-Colorado road trip.
Hopefully this is a turning point for this season.

Winning streaks always include a few games you didn’t really deserve. If we want to keep it going we’ll have to be a lot better against the Debbies on Monday.
Iggy is returning to form. Seeing that hallmark confidence and swagger that he had against the Leafs last October
Two good road wins against two good teams. Both stadiums have strong home ice. But we won both. Hopefully the season begins to lean in our favor
We just BARELY eaked out a win against an AHL roster on the back of an absurd performance from the best goalie in the world in which any other goalie would’ve allowed five. We’re back
Igor is going to drag us kicking and screaming into the playoffs this year like Hank used to, huh.
I can’t help but think back to Trouba’s fights and passion a few games ago when we were losing. I think he really galvanized this team.

Vally sounds sick.
The 1st period wasn’t great, some sketchy turnovers and defensive moments at times, but overall this group showed fight till the end that they haven’t showed for a large chunk of the season. Given the way this season’s gone, really thought that was a crucial shootout to win to keep this win streak going
Panarin had some bad turnovers, but overall he was great tonight even helping out defensively. Seems to be turning it around and got the deserved clincher.
Shesty was the star of the game though and the difference between winning and losing.
Knew Newhook was good from the wjc, but all the other random Avs kids can really fly. Whoever’s doing their scouting knows what they’re doing. They were really impressive even with all their injuries.
Really great hockey game and start to the weekend.
A win is a win I don’t care that we’re beating struggling or beat up teams. Every point counts for us now, and these would be games that you’d expect tough points from, regardless. Good team get points when they’re supposed to and we’ve capitalized on that these past 3 games.
That being said how the fuck did the Aves finish with 13 more sog? I felt like we controlled possession though the 3rd (but I was working at the same time), but it looked like we had it once Schneider scored, were really controlling possession and the pace. Credit to the Aves call-ups, they did a nice job of clogging the middle, stuck to a simple game plan and picked up a point.
That being said, the Aves still have enormous talent on their team, even with all the injuries. So I’ll give our boys a little credit tn, too.
If we lose to the devils Monday I will be devastated.
My good luck charm seems to be… a football jersey? I decided to put on a San Francisco 49ers jersey before the third period against Vegas and then they scored five goals. I put it on again today and they win. Guess I have to wear it indefinitely now.

But I do think a lot here are over stating this, as an Igor stolen win.
I have to see the analytics, but I didn’t think the game was one-sided. Thought it was a fairly evenly matched game. Not much high danger chances for either team.
That said, we are facing a depleted team, and should have over matched them.
But they still had several all world players on the ice, are the Stanley Cup champions and are an outstanding home team.
Great road win. Great start to this 4-game stretch against elite teams.
Tomorrow there’s TBL-FLA and Isles-Canes. The standings are about to get real muddy

Avs are fast as fuck. They looked pretty good with their depleted lineup. I’m very happy the boys pulled this win off. Trouba tossing that bucket really could have been the turning point. Been playing with a lot more grit for the last 2-3.
Gotta say, traveling to Vegas and then Denver from NEW York was completely worth it. What a showing from fans on the road. I may be both deaf and voiceless for work Monday

What a win. Igor stole this game! Panarin with the winning shootout goal, the beautiful apple pass to Schneider’s goal. Oh Baby! That was beautiful. Schneider is looking good. Not only putting pucks on/in the net but also defensively. the kid is developing. 1st period looked really awful. BUT the Rangers found a way to win. Like what I said, Igor stole this game. I wish there was footage of Igor celebrating after the shootout win to stick it to Georgiev. If not, oh well. That win was a win of what’s the word, Tegridy.
