The actual goal song has altered lyrics. Also, what a tired, uninspired choice. I'm disappointed in the team selecting a song that is both played out to hell in Seattle and wasn't that great to begin with. Let Nirvana go. It sucks enough to live here and have every rock station feel obligated to play them 20 times a day. I guess 25 years isn't enough time to find more music. Weak choice for my favorite team.

I'm way over on the other coast. Still, with NHL and the teams I've been following, this is probably one of the best put-together goal horns in the NHL. Seattle, Nirvana (Lithium), plus the chant. It doesn't get much better than this.

I'm from Finland and a big fan of NHL. This goal horn is f*cking awesome! So uplifting and good and I bet it always makes you sitting Seattle fans to stand up and start dancing while yelling "YE YE YE YEEEEE!" 😂 I think only Boston Bruins have a better goal horn. That goal horn is the most uplifting ever lol
