Hughes is damn impressive. “If Jack Hughes ever played with a Bonafide sniper”, agreed that would be dangerous! I was saying something similar about Barzal on the Islanders. with 27 assists! Dismal 3 goals though! LGI’s
I was at the game. They Devils were out of sync tonight and out of rhythm. If the Devils had hustled and played a full 60 minutes they would have won the game.
Islanders way out shot the Devs. That wrapped around goal was a give away. Ditto for the other at the end of 1st Period.
If they had hustled and played the first two periods like they played the 3rd period they would have won.
The Devils need at least 1 enforcer on the roster. I was stunned when Devils pulled the goalie with 7 minutes remaining. Great exciting comeback effort!
