Was hoping to see Luchini,Socks or Grieg brought up. Surprised they let DJ in the dressing room… Feels like he’s going to get the whole team sick every time we listen to him speak… Hawk up that Lougee budski. Selfishly hoping they sit DeBrincat and Chabot so I can watch them play Wednesday when I make the three hour trek. We need to WN both games this week!
Chabot said something interesting in the French part. The wording caught my attention. At one part, I think it was the last question, he basically said, “It’s fun/special for us (to see the retired numbers and ring of honour).” I like the use of the word “us”, implying the current players of the organization. It shows that him, and assumably most of the players, are true blood Sens trough and through. If you weren’t dedicated to your team, you wouldn’t give a shit about its history.
I should note my French isn’t the greatest. But that’s how I understood his answer. If I am wrong, hopefully someone who’s better in French can correct me.
