that was certainly one of the 82 hockey games we will have this season

  2. Soto4Life

You would think a team starving for offense surely wouldn’t put their 23 yo former first round potential top 6 sniper on waivers right?

  3. xiamhunterx

stop walking away from these shitshows with a point

  4. skratz17

why in god’s name did i watch *all* of that

  5. I hate to love this team. I have no interest in watching games anymore because I know what the result is gonna be. I know we’re losing tomorrow as well since we play Edmonton. Haven’t beaten them in like 3-4 years so why would this terrible lineup end that? Just beyond frustrated and pretty much numb at this point

You know maybe if they did something crazy like actually shoot the puck on net instead of wide, over, or to fucking mars, they might have won this game.

I’m SO glad they got back to playing the « Predator Way ».

Thought it was a strong defensive effort given the injuries to the defensive line. Certainly some missed opportunities finishing. Frustrating game

Next 7 games: EDM, WPG, COL, EDM, CHI, COL, DAL.

Fuck this team is just miserable and the December stretch without any D cover is going to be pretty brutal.

But just watch this shit show team go .500.

Impressed with McKeown, otherwise unremarkable game. What a shitty way to lose after defending the net all night like a rockstar, though. Rough point.

  11. excessive_coughing

Gravel & McKeown didn’t give up a goal so that’s pretty neat

since thanksgiving, the preds have SIX 5 on 5 goals

preds are 4th last in goals per game

powerplay just went 0/4 against one of the leagues worst PK’s

just got shutout by jordan fucking binnington

just cut a potential 30 goal scorer after turning him into a replacement level 4th line grinder

coaching staff thinks cole smith is an 82 game player.

« youth movement » is basically dead

goal scoring is up dramatically across the league. now more than ever, outscoring mediocre defense is a more viable strategy than out defending mediocre offense. there are 50-something players on a point per game pace and exactly zero of them play for the preds. the preds are out here trying to grind out 2-1 wins like the pre-lockout Devils. it’s like no one in the organization watches the rest of the NHL. and judging by their actions and comments, they don’t know what the problem is at best, or at worst they don’t know they have a problem. the preds are an irrelevant, boring, pointless side note in an otherwise exciting NHL season.

this organization needs a complete top-down reset. just restart from zero.

Did they REALLY leave it all on the ice, Mace?

I’m not even mad at the rebound. I’m still focused and angry about what forsberg was doing with the puck before that. Good thing he had an awesome contract year. He’s fucking garbage right now.

This year the Preds sucking feels different from the other bad years. During other low years we could see young guys in the lineup we knew were developing. So there was a path forward. I don’t see anything that stats out as the future here.

Here we are with a bunch of AHL guys having to be brought up to fill in on D. I don’t see any promising top 4 future for any of these guys.

Same with offense. Our veteran guys are struggling but what about our young guys we’re hoping to see in the top 6 in the near future? Sorry but Glass isn’t looking like he’s that guy. Parssinen looks good by comparison but its still hard to tell. And thats really it right now.

  16. FrankFnRizzo

It’s honestly impressive how far they’ve fallen in an offseason after supposedly improving the roster. This team is a fucking joke. I have no hope whatsoever that anyone in charge is capable of improving the situation. This is going to be a dark period for this franchise.
