    #FREE JEFF SKINNER

Not because he is innocent but because I don’t wanna watch another game with Mitts on the top line. Think this goes under the cruel and unusual punishment having to watch him skate around and lose the puck in the offensive zone on a PP

  2. A 41-year-old man wearing number 41 made 40 saves for his 43rd career shutout.

If you have not gotten any lotto numbers out of that I can’t help you anymore.

We show up either unbeatable or unwinnable

    Great third.

Glad I remembered they were playing hockey midway through the second.

    1st period: Fucking Around

    2nd period: Fucking Around

    3rd period: Finding Out

I left at 2-0 to go watch some basketball… what the hell happened

  7. elkaroo

Tight defensive games are for nerds

Black and reds are blessed, never take ‘em off

Idk who was wearing #71 tonight but we need that guy back every night. What a standout game from him. Multiple great plays in « the house » –where before today, I thought he was allergic to it.

  10. YepImanEmokid

Watching the Sabres evolution from offensive hockey to offensive hockey has been so fun.

  11. StuntmanSalt

Gimme Gimme Gimme 6 goals in a period

  12. ColonelJanSkrzetuski

Thompson’s one-timer is a blatant violation of the Geneva convention

  13. dgodwin1

Anyone know when was the last time we had a player with 25 goals before Christmas? Tage is only a few goals away with nearly two weeks left.

  14. DrKennyBlankenship

All these coaching changes over the years and all along it has just been those damn blue and yellow jerseys.

  15. Sonny_Zwack

Standing ovation with 44 seconds left by the ten or so thousand there warmed my soul.

  16. brown_and_water

I feel like we’re a Mittelstadt-for-Puljujarvi trade and a healthy defenseman or two away from a 15-game heater.

  17. UncleOrton

This game was the “call the ambulance but not for me meme”. Did not expect that at all after getting outshot by 100.

  18. aaaaaliyah

Anderson kept us in it for the first half and then boys came through

  19. Son_Of_The_Empire

Trade everything for a goalie and some defensemen and we lift a cup i’m barely even joking

Credit where it’s due Krebs-Oloffson looked like a formidable third line. Could slot Asplund or Jost in there and have that work really well. Middlestadt and Jost also made a strong combination against Pittsburgh so might be seeing some growth. Unfortunately the combinations are not such that they make for an easy line combo to go with. But seeing life out of the third line is a good thing.

I live for seeing Tage’s one timer

    Not to pile on but…

On a night in which both of his linemates scored a goal, and he had multiple minutes on the Power Play, Mitts did not register a single shot on goal, nor a single point. It’s not working. He needs to be Casey Sits-lestadt.

    First period shots: 3

    Third period goals: 6

  24. Finally_Smiled

Tuned out of the game at the beginning of the 3rd at 0-0 to bonk with the wife and came back to us winning 6-0.

    I love it.

  25. LAMProductions99

Two six-goal periods in one week, and Andy with a 40-save shutout. Looked like it was going to be a pretty boring game halfway through, but I guess they didn’t want to disappoint their fans. NICE GAME GUYS!!

  26. Krunkyjunk

Man, the 8 game losing streak seems so long ago. 5-3-2 in the last 10 tracks with how I’d hope this team would be doing.

And I just checked the Atlantic standings… this division is just so damn good this year lol.
