Dumb move to pull holtz. He wasnt bad in any of the games even the two penalty BS. He has looked solid on both sides of the ice even physicality (playmaking was great just didnt have anybody playmaking to him) He didnt make the mistakes last game and would have helped out a lot this game if he got some top 6 minutes or at least top 9

Schmid deserved better. The rest of the Devils, not so much.
And two of the three losses were home losses.
I disagree with Haula. Offensive has slowed down considerably compared to the earlier games. Power plays also need lots of work.

Schmid was excellent. IMHO, stick handling was pretty bad- Too many turnovers.
