You know what makes this so wholesome and amazing of him to do, (and it's not just for fan appreciation and making the kids day) Ovi has a large collection of hockey sticks from past and present hockey players/stars he's played with or against over his career, each of them game used and signed to indicate who's who, so the fact he wouldn't keep his own stick to add as personal memorabilia to his collection goes to show his selfless love for the sport and its fans.
Hockey Hall of Fame is gonna be calling this kid in the coming days…..

Idk if that was THE stick he scored 800 with. He uses/has multiple sticks. Could've been a backup stick. Plus i doubt he would just give away that 800 stick. Still a very expensive stick no matter
