I think the season the Leafs tanked for Auston Matthews they were still half-way decent and won 30 games.
It's so nice to have a goaltending tandem, two legit starters. I've been watching the Leafs since 1991 and the only time I can remember they've had two reliable goalies is when the goalies were Curtis Joseph and Glenn Healy. Healy was a back-up for sure, it wasn't a 1A and 1B situation they have now, but when Healy played he was very good. Reimer and Bernier were 1A and 1B but they struggled on a bad team.
Zegras is COMPLETELY OVERRATED!!!!! time to face that fact. He's not a game changer…he was a ghost last nite….lack of effort and is a constant floater. Every Ducks fan knows this but are blinded by his highlight reel breakaway goals and his stick – tricks. ..
The Rangers on Thursday night, great chance to prove we belong on prime time. New York is deep and specific to the fundementals of the game, our front 12 will have to be on point to push the size and strength of the blue shirts defense. Good luck Leafs we are proud to support your hard work. 🍁
