At least we didn’t take an OT penalty

  2. natenicholson

I’m really starting to believe we won’t get a 10 game winsteak

  3. GrafNebelgeist

Flames didn’t take a penalty in OT.

    That’s almost like a win.

  4. shichibukai3000

Can’t even beat the Canucks lol.

  5. IMakeShips4Europeans

Just some good, honest .500 hockey baby

  6. broke-collegekid

Just feels like we watch the same game every night the Flames are on. Not sure what’s going on, but just feels like a very meh team right now.

  7. Kadri91

Stayed up till 3 am for this lol oh well atleast we got another loser point

  8. thrasher_jake

I only caught the 3rd/OT but Vancouver was targeting Markstrom’s glove side HARD tonight

  9. natenicholson

TRADE THEM ALL AND BUILD BEHIND VLADDY

    I WANT BEDARD

  10. DOITLIKEBRUTUS

y’know, other than a lack of offense, defense, talent, skill, effort, structure, puck control, passing and shooting, this is a pretty good team.

  11. Chronixx

This team is no contender. Makes last years’ success sting that much more seeing it won’t happen for some time

  12. marveldcomnibus9

7 game and 4 game losing streaks and it isn’t even the end of December yet.

Have to come to terms that this team isn’t a playoff team this year.

  13. marbsarebadredux

Sucks we cant blow this up and go for Bedard. We’re just gonna be Malcolm in the Middle forever, huh

  14. Aaronl9

I’m officially ready to just say this team flat out sucks. We can’t start on time. Can’t score. Can’t make passes. Can’t defend. Can’t make saves. This team just plain sucks.

  15. tristan1616

Who’s ready for 9 more years of mediocrity?

  16. Murphster94

This team has such little finish right now it’s frustrating. Playoff picture starts to look real tough here soon.

  17. abrandnewsharpie

    8 more years of

    H U B E R D E A U

    FUCK

  18. natenicholson

The beginning of the season was a outlier.

This team is not a playoff contender

  19. Nativejoel

Honestly during the break the best thing would be to try and get shot accuracy. I know shots go wide often but it feels almost too often with the flames.

  20. Trufflehunter89

Honestly sutter is gettin real close to needing to go. We need an offensive minded coach not a stubborn dinosaur that has absolutely neutered any semblance of offense.

  21. Suzaku94

Huberdeau has been a big disappointment. But so has most of the team I guess 🤷

  22. FrodoSagbag6

Montreal and Vancouver were must win games. This was supposed to be an « easy » stretch. The fact the team can’t get the 2 points is very concerning.

  23. super6646

4 straight losses after a 7 game losing streak beforehand. Losses against CBJ, MTL, and now VAN. All 3 should’ve been wins.

I won’t be too upset when Sutter and Brad are gone. This roster ain’t it and the product fucking sucks night after night. Boring boring hockey every night. Just cycle the puck to the point and hope for the best. How did one of the bigger stars in the game turn to what we’ve been seeing too?

  24. Mattybourbon

Being a flames fan right now is like watching the first 20 minutes of The Mighty Ducks on repeat.
Not the hockey parts, but the part where Gordon Bombay is a piece of shit and hates his life.

  25. TravisTouchdown_51

I like Backs but what on earth compelled Sutter to go with him and his 1 goal in 11 attempts (9.1%) in the shootout?

The score isn’t indicative of his play but I felt Markstrom was fine tonight, no chance on the deflection and two great shots got past him.

  26. SupropRenkcip

Our Top 6 is so fucking boring right now. Need a little something to spice it up. Not sure what that would be though.

  27. Visotto1

I would love to never hear. « he played great after letting in 2 early » ever again

  28. jozhearvega

I really thought after that Minnesota game and the home stand that this team had it figured out.

There is still time in this season but I’m really just not seeing it. This team can’t score or hold leads when it matters. Maybe I’ll be proven wrong but it fundamentally just seems like it isn’t our year.

  29. Steve78293

Team misses Johnny and Chucky that’s all I do too

  30. FishBobinski

We are once again a middling team that will finish 15th or 16th, get bounced in the first round IF we make the dance, and bound by bad contracts so we can’t improve.

We knew the Huberdeau and Kadri contracts would suck in 3 or 4 years. But we suck now.

Every game is a struggle, every game is a fight. What game this season have we put a team away in the first period?

    Trash team.

  31. TheThatNeverWas

Sutter was great at reining in an offensively talented squad that couldn’t play sound structured defense. But god damn, he’s turning this new less offensive team in the wrong direction. Hube has no business vying for Selke also-ran status. Use your squad’s strengths, Darryl, or get out of town.

  32. tristan1616

I remember a guy a few months ago saying maybe we should wait to see how Huberdeau and Weegar gel with the team before signing them long term so we could get some major assets at the trade deadline for them if things didn’t work out and I’m really starting to wish we took that route instead. Our window is supposed to be now but instead we look like how we’re going to 4-6 years from now

  33. Kadri91

Lindhom must miss playing with Gaudreau and chucky lol felt like every night last year one of them were always on the scoresheet with atleast 1 point lol

  34. Rolley2001

Friendly Avs Fan coming to say hello. The Flames are my second team and it sucks to see them in the position they are in. I noticed that the team is all over the place and there was little discipline and organization. I can also see a lot of pessimism in the comments section below, which deeply saddens me. Hang in there bros. I hope that things will improve for you guys and I wish you all well. May the odds be ever in your favour 🙂

    Peace ✌🏼
