I have this as Number 1 in my ranking of the RR 2.0s, I love love love this logo, soooooo glad they went with the crown instead of the 'chevy' logo for the FOURTH different jersey and I've ordered this one today as well. And yep, its a definite 10…..
The Kings have been dishing out perfect 10 RRs in back-to-back years. This is another perfect uniform.
9.5/10. This is the one jersey I wish I had more money to have preordered. I first became a fan of hockey when Gretzky was a member of the Kings with the Chevron logo and not this crown logo. This jersey is great and is a perfect Reverse because the Kings never had a white jersey as they had a yellow jersey for their light jersey at this time period. I love the purple on this and the back numbers.
I know LA won two Cups with their current jerseys, but I would love to see them make this RR their away jerseys, a purple one for their home jerseys and their first RR as an alternate jersey.

I prefer the black and purple uniforms from the early 90's but these aren't bad. We do need teams using purple. We don't have any right now.
Slight differences in colour of the pants will be down to manufacturers (Bauer, warrior, ccm, stx, etc.) using slightly different materials and their colour being off. The different colour from different brands is most obvious when you look at teams that wear navy helmets, some look almost black and others look light beside the jerseys
Very solid jersey, definitely one im going to try to get, wasn't in my initial purchase of jerseys but it's grown on me. Full uniform is amazing 9/10

They chose to use this specific stripping and logo to honor the 1982 “Miracle on Manchester” team where the kings came back from a 5-0 deficit in the 3rd period against the Oilers (with Gretzky ofc), and won in overtime. That is why they used that logo. But they obviously put a spin on it with the white primary. Anyways, hope that helps you understand why they did this, thanks Neil!

I love these colors and design for this jersey. I’m hoping my AHL team the Thunderbirds use their Springfield Kings design for throwback day this season. Btw have you ever seen the TBirds specialty Simpsons Springfield Ice-O-Topes jerseys? They used two different designs and honestly they both nail the Simpsons aesthetic. The TBirds are actually unveiling a third jersey design on the 26th.

It KILLS me that the Lakers use gold and purple colours and everyone calls those two colours the Lakers colours, but the LA KINGS don’t use the ROYAL COLOURS of purple and gold
White jersey = White helmets. Concept as old as time, alternatives look off in my opinion! Except for, like, specialty jersey. There might be something about contrasts, too. Anyway, I like white buckets far better than their chrome atrocities!

LAs rr jerseys are good, but they seem to forget the reverse part. I think they could have used their current logo in old colours, or the old logo in black and grey.
You should just disconnect the NHL logo from your reviews. Judge the sweater detached from the orange because the team and Adidas had no control over that decision. I think in the future, the NHL should do what MLB does and colors the logo to match the team’s colors.
LA knocked it out of the park again with series 2.0. This uniform is so ridiculously clean and I may actually like the overall design choices of this jersey more than the first but I’m not sure, they’re both beautiful! 9.3/10
I got this jersey luckily after most sizes sold out . I randomly checked adidas site and saw some 54 and used a 30 percent off coupon on it .

I do not agree with Neil on the logo and like the "crown" logo much more than the one on his jersey. If I were the Kings, I would make this their primary road jersey and then have a new purple or yellow jersey for their home jersey.
Got to remember the Kings original logo was indeed the crown. Both Kings reverse retros are my favorites in the league.

I absolutely love purple and yellow. They go so well together! I’m with you where I like the logo from last time much better. I’m glad they went for primary white with purple/yellow, and last time primary purple. I hope someday they go back to those colors permanently.

Question. I totally get your concern with the NHL logo for most of these jerseys. Would it have been better, same color but putting it on the back bottom where the logo used to be? Might not be as off putting and also it keeps with the retro theme?
I think this shows that the Kings need to swap to Purple and gold when the next Jersey manufacturer.
