I mean hubey is out there throwing bigger hits than looch.

you need to score goals to win hockey games.
I mean it’s great his defensive play is good but I don’t think we are paying him 10mill next year for that. We want the 115 points he had last year.

This offence is on Sutter. The system needs to adjust for skill players – and Sutter needs to trust some players not named Looch. Like he can’t even skate at an NHL level anymore.
Huby needs some more freedom, as do his line mates, to create and have some fun playing the game. That’s what’s missing this year – the joy. Seems like Sutter has sucked all the fun out of the team this year.
Most teams sign top players to play their strengths and tweak other skills. Flames sign players and try to change their top skills to play Sutter hockey first. They then lose what made them what they are. He needs to let guys like Huby do their thing first and Sutter defence second.
