Keep on keeping on boys, way to get back into the swing of things. They were on the edge of disaster, they had been 3-5-2 in the 10 games leading up to this current run in which they won 7 of the last 8. We had only won back to back games 3 times and hadn’t won more than two games in a row yet. If we kept this play up for another 2 weeks we would’ve been in serious trouble we would’ve been in a hole so deep we would’ve needed a ridiculous run to even have a thought about a spot in the playoffs. This recent run were on has also coincided with the return of TJ Oshie which reminds me if we can continue to improve with this group now then when we get Wilson and Backstrom back they should be ready to take a run at another Cup. Bottom line is this Capital’s team’s core maybe getting older but they are far from done yet.
