Thanks for answering my question David! Your answer was on point 👍lol let’s hope we win a round 🙏Go Leafs Go!
Tavares is gonna have a great bounce back year. To even THINK the Leafs are trading him is a really wasted talking point. The Kane rumors have been debunked, the only remaining issue is Sandin …. Robertson MAY be trade bait.
The Leafs will win the Atlantic…we need a weaker dance partner in Round 1
I can’t seem to find a link to the Discord.
Anyone know where I can find it?
Hi David, my explanation for JT is around 70 pts and 25 to 30 goals. A similar season to last
Thanks for answering my question!
It was great to hear your opinion
Question. Do you think the leafs if not this regular season, for the playoffs, look to bring in some young energy in Robertson and Knies. A 4th line of Aube-kubel-Robertson-Knies is a very high intensity forchecking 4th line that could be useful in playoff type games.
Nicky Bobbie? Yea, he could be a solid second line player if he and Tavares have a good player on the right wing. If they are playing with Nylander, Nylander's poor defensive play and unwillingness to forecheck will drag the line down and Robertson will be scapegoated to put the blame on someone else. The ideal scenario for him would be for the Leafs to trade for a winger capable of playing first line minutes with Matthews, freeing Marner up to play with Tavares and Robertson.
What should we expect? Anything less than the conference finals is a failure.
Tavares needs hardworking wingers who can forecheck, backcheck, defend hard in the Leafs's end and cycle the puck in the Ozone. If they saddle him with wingers who can't or won't do that the line will be a failure again. If he has hardworking wingers who really want to win… The line will be great.
If Florida still a threat? Yes.
How many games will Murray play? Wow. Yea. It could be less than 20. That would likely be a disaster. If he stays healthy the Leafs could have a legendary season.
Luxury tax? Yes.
Kane. One year of Kane is easily worth two years of Nylander. Trade for Kane 50% retained or double retained if possible, move Nylander and Kerfoot to make up for the lost picks and prospects and to make the cap work. Be buyers at the deadline. Put all the chips in the middle of the table.

if they get Kane…. and not make second round X new boys in…
Robertson is way too small. He needs to work on his shot. Leafs need a solid winger who can hit, back check and skill to play with Tavares. Nylander isn’t a good line mate for JT
Tavares doesn't like to dish off to other players. Tavares likes to shoot. He's always been shoot first, just like Mathews. That's a problem you guys won't acknowledge: The REASON centres traditionally get more assists is that the main way offence works in hockey is you have to get the puck in the middle, in the O-zone. Once you've got that, you ideally have FIVE equal options,4 passes and a shot. So when a centre gets the puck in the middle, which he will more than any other player, you want the defending team to go on a bit of a Chinese fire drill, because they have no idea what the play is going to be. A "shoot first" centre is predictable, and I think that's one of the reasons The Leafs get shut down in game 7's. Everyone is taking their defensive jobs as seriously as possible. They cover every check they can, but pay EXTRA attention to blocking the shot from the centre. It's PREDICTABLE! Marner may be your best playmaker, but his options are restricted on the wing. So once again, he's easier to defend, he's probably;y going. to pass, and he has less options to do so.
If you don'r remember how AWFUL the NHL was without the cap, than you weren't watching when there wasn't one. IT SUCKS!! NOTHING ruined this league worse than not having a hard cap. You just want the Leafs to be able to BUY a cup……Put it this way, would you watch a poker tournament where the buy-ins were unlimited and the winner was dictated by who has the most money…..THE SALARY CAP IS ESSENTIAL! The KEY is making sure no player makes over a certain % of the cap…trust me, you take out the cap, the NHL won't exist much longer.
Congratulations you figured out the audio 👏.
..not a leaf fan..but..tavares needs wingers with size who get the puck to him..marner and nylander are soft and playoff useless.. ..size matters..
I would have Robertson start on third line to start if he makes the team and then prove that he deserves to play on second line
