I disagree the team didn't play well until the third, he's just not throwing mrazek under the bus. I feel like that may have been Mrazeks last game as a leaf though. Great to see the squad really step up and score their way out of trouble yet again. The third was awesome too, it's a shame such a great game has to come to an end in the dumbest way possible.
Now Toronto fans want a goalie who hasn't even played a whole game to be the starter..what nut jobs.
I love watching AM. His skill and talent are All World. I don’t think AM will ever be Captain of the Leafs as I believe he will run all the way back to Arizona the minute he becomes a Free Agent

Am i the only one demanding to see more from this team? How many excuses are we gonna continue to make, hear, listen to, accept before we (as fans) just accept that this TEAM can't and won't get it done. We play the worst teams in the NHL and we make THEM look good. I've already accepted it and i can't wait for a complete dissection and overhaul.

It's fucking stupid that the refs don't get any accountability after games like this one. The league even defends them by fining players, coaches, teams that criticizes them. What a joke of a league. Imagine betting a bunch of money on this game and this is how it ends…. Something needs to change. Changing the Commissioner would be a good start

Play Kallgren next game. Keefe announces this to the team. THEN tells the team. Look, we have a young rookie goalie back there – pay ^#$@#@$ attention to defense and help him out. Do not hang this kid out to dry. I have found that if the team knows they have a "shaky goalie" back there they will step it up on def. Look at the zamboni game as a classic example.

You can tell, understandably, Matthews was upset over non call. The young man is already maintaining a great political voice.
He’s right on target, offence is top tier. He didn’t have to say it, you could hear it in his mannerism, goaltending is crap.
Last night I saw a superstar showing passion and heart to win the game and he was robbed by a blatant non call. Leafs must to make this team deadly around AM, the kid deserves better.

He is an outstanding talent who continues to blossom annually! It’s unfortunate we can’t say the same about the GM and coaching staff. They have really disappointed…other clubs would have cleaned up that dept several times over with their stumbling and bumbling over the years. Can’t wait for that to change.

The last 10 games have given Dubas a lot of indications regarding who should be traded and what areas to address before the trade deadline. 10 days to go now and hopefully we see some movement after the heritage classic. Offense has been good but we need toughness at the back. Don’t let the team down and get some necessary trades done to help them end the regular season well.

You know when Auston is angry, that something is wrong. The officiating was brutal. The hit on Bunting… on Marner… the hold on Auston’s stick. The Coyotes are a team that needs strict officiating. They take a lot of chances with dirty plays and are not penalized.
This was heartbreaking and infuriating.
Auston’s restraint is admirable.

Matthews said all the right things, but it still doesn't change the fact that they STILL do a terrible job in their own zone. It's like watching two different teams in the same jersey.
It's not even an issue of the team anymore honestly. The Team has amazing players, and auston matthews is the best. He had every right to be pissed. It's goaltending that's horrible. Don't get me wrong, I love Jack, but hes in no position to play rn and everything with him has been going downhill lately. he's not Good enough for the team. And no offense, mrazek sucks. He gives up so many goals every game tht It's just ridiculous now. It's almost the playoffs and i really think they should do something about goaltending if they wanna win! Just gotta wait and hope Sheldon and kyle open their eyes to the real issue and do sumthn before it's too late🤞🏼Love you Auston! GO leafs Go!

Matthews is one of the best players in the league, 44 goals and he doesn't throw Mrazek under the bus, but I bet there's not to many players on the team that like Mrazek. I can't believe Mrazek is getting the start against Buffalo in the outdoor game on Sunday, I was hoping Mrazek would be put on waivers and some team would claim him off waivers. Then the leafs could call up Joseph Woll to start and have Kallgren as the backup, until Campbell comes back, hopefully feeling much better about himself and being able to play the way he played in the beginning of the season. Campbell as the starter and Woll to back him up, I like the rookie Kallgren but when Campbell comes back send Kallgren back to the Marlies and let him develop his game that much better.

Refs are useless as per usual. Thx for making a 3 hour game a total waste of time. If I had tickets to that game I would have been pissed…unlike Arizona fans that were so happy it wasn't called or they would have watched their team throw away that lead. I don't think that Campbell is the problem. Leafs' defence disorganized and awful. As for the power forwards, it's great when you score goals but you are allowed to back-check. Not every team has Demko stopping 50 shots when the team in front of him messes up.
