Not everyone is as stupid as Florida
Florida, if you got good Offense, goal tending and D then the next step is to bring in a Tkuchuk but you don't give away your offense to bring in that type of player
St. Louis knows they screwed up here… I suspect now they will try to get both Tkachuk brothers the next time their contracts expire, Brady in six years and Matthew in eight.
I think the canes Offer was Teavo, Skjei, Necas, a first, and Kotkaniemi.
I respectfully don't believe that these offers were real. It's just speculation. Why would FLA need to pay so much if all they had to beat was a 3rd line Forward in Necas and an overpaid D in Skjei? Even if you throw in a 1st rounder and a top prospect, that's nowhere close to FLA's package. And STL's supposed offer of Tarasenko, MS, and a high pick is ridiculous. No way those were the real offers. Unless the teams confirm their offers, we really have no idea what the final offers were. GM's aren't stupid. They know what's out there. The real offers were likely far more substantial.
My grandmas nail ladys husband said canes was giving up aho, tevo, 2 first round picks. Put that hearsay in your video too 👍
It just reaffirms the belief St Louis has in our younger group on ice and the kids coming up, we’re bolstered for offense for at least the next couple years, we need to figure out our defensive situation and stop inconsistencies. I’m glad we didn’t give up jordan, his level of play has stepped up year after year since he was 16 he’s a better deal for the money right now on team that last time I checked was above budget.
So mnay clowns in the comments. As a Blues fan I am happy we did not get him. Hedge your future for one player @ 9.5mil who was going to be a UFA next year? No thanks. I woul dhave offered Tank, Krug, and a 1st that's it. We do not need offense, we need defensive defensemen.
One things that drives me nuts is average players having no trade clauses, superstars sure, decent but by no mean great players should not have them. 🤷🤷🏒🏒

Tarasenko, Scandella and a 1st round pick? Two 30+ year olds with 1 and 2 years left on their contracts (respectively) and a late first round pick. Thank goodness Florida made their offer.
As a blues fan, there was no way I was letting Kyrou go. I would have done a prospect.

Carolina Hurricanes offered a strong offer to Calgary. We didn't have the players to trade what Florida gave. Carolina was not going to trade Aho, Svench. I like Aho, he is one player I would trade. If I was the GM, trade Aho, Brady Skeij, 2023 First round pick, 24 3rd round pick and Ryan Suzuki. Calgary sends Carolina T. 2023 3rd round pick and middle tier prospect back to the Hurricanes. No matter what Florida offense will be great. Hurricanes has a Better D!! Defense wins championships with great Goaltending
Every offer is an over payment and Calgary got a haul for a dirty rat from the panthers including the best player in the deal in huberdeau
The Blues offer was not embarrassing. The Florida offer was.
