Kidd and Nico need to be fired. Cuban needs to sell the team. Kidd is just as bad as Carlisle about not playing rookies, but he isn't nearly as good a coach in the other areas. Way too many missed player acquisition opportunities. They got torched the other night by a 36 year old Slovenian that wanted to play here. Dragic would have been a very nice third PG. I have little faith they will make any truly impactful trades. I can tell that Nick and Isaac share that concern. Wood's talent is being wasted. He'll probably walk in F/A. Reportedly could have resigned Brunson before the trade deadline last season and did not. Horrible!

It’s interesting that you ask, “ when’s it Luka’s turn for a 50 pt game?” WHAT? TURN? The other players don’t have “turns”. Luka’s a ball hog and only reluctantly gives up the ball for teammates to score. He pouts and storms off the court like a child when he doesn’t win. He should grow up and play like he has teammates on the court. It’s not just about him.
I wonder if Jason Kidd just doesn’t believe in the team that much and that’s why he doesn’t change up his lineups. Maybe he just thinks the only way to win with this team is by shooting threes. I do think Kidd is too focused on defense with Christian Wood. I think that we gotta try Christian wood more at this point. At the beginning of the season I was willing to buy in to Kidds plans, cause it seemed like maybe it could work and there was some sort of plan, but at this point we know this strategy isn’t sustainable, maybe it’s time to sacrifice some defense and start Wood and see how it works. We don’t want the year to end, loose Wood and not even know if he could have had a bigger role in this team. If we loose Wood in a year or so let’s at least know, well we tried all these different things and it just didn’t work.

Christian Wood needs to figure it out. But based on how the coaches let him play it seems like he’s just here for a later trade
If we can't find another ballhandler and will have to rely on 3 points this season, then we atleast need to make a trade for someone big who is good at rebounds so the 3 point shooters can get another chance at shooting during the same attack, maybe John Collins could be that guy. As of now we are losing too many possesions.

It will not be sustainable in the finals. Good teams will close out on 3 pt shooters.

Even in dirk Era. There were seasons like If our offense is great our defense follows. IMO coach kidd should create ATP "after timeout plays" or set up 3-5 plays that will give the mavs easy bucket. We can't just relay on THJ getting hot streaks every game.. Pels is pulling away in the winning column. Start to put some Winning streak now!

Mavs same record as last year, 14 & 13 on dec. 13 last year. Yet, they don’t seem in sync consistently. No stars are coming, they don’t want to play for Cuban.
