    amazing defensive performance for the majority of the game, but a tough ending for sammy – he played pretty well up until that third goal, seemed to be rattled afterwards

    im sure he’ll learn from it, we’ve been able to count on him so far this season

    Risto is just garbage. Dumb penalties. Facing wrong way. Just does absolutely nothing. You were talking about how some defensemen aren't totally defensive but they drive play up the ice, etc. Risto does nothing. He gets outworked, outrun on every play. And is somehow tired. Any slower and he'd be in a lawn chair.

    I feel so bad for Hart.

    What a day! What a game! Thank God the Leafs didn't blow a 4-1 lead to the Flyers otherwise I've would've lost it! Let's keep this going! GO LEAFS GO!

    Honestly, it felt like this game was playing in slow motion most of the time. The Leafs basically just didn't care. They knew they could put in low effort and probably win anyway. I hate that. That's not the attitude of a champion. It's games like this that give me a lot of doubts about their commitment to being a champion. I just don't know how a team can be so dominant one game and then look like a bunch of grandpas on the ice against a bottom 5 team in the next. They refused to skate all game. It was so easy for the Flyers to just put them up against the boards and give them no space with how slow they were skating, even on the power play. Bad hockey.

    A weird win for the Leafs. But this is what you want, right? They should have won. They out played the Flyers for most of the game right? Happy to see the Leafs going into the Holiday break 21-7-6. Hopefully the pick it up where they left off.

    The Toronto media asked Samsonov how he wantes his name pronounced. Apparently everyone has been pronouncing his name wrong all these years. He wants it pronounced Sam sa nov not Sam so nov

    Score was a lot closer than the actual game. 5 minutes into the 3rd and the Flyers had 10 shots on net. Samsonov made it more interesting is all. He's still been very good just the last 2 games haven't been stellar. Not worried but Leaf haters are – you can tell by their 1st round exit bromides

    The leafs made a video beginning of the season having new players pronounce their name. So it’s not just everyone deciding to change it. It’s him making the correction. Even if he didn’t correct people in Washington, that could have just been him not wanting to go out of his way to do so.

    Shannon, regarding the jersey, the legitimate jersey with the fight strap doesn't look as great reversed because of the stitching and everything. The fanatics replica is the one that actually works as reversible. No stitching like that, so the press can do both sides as outsides
