Smith did do something, but not much:

    Time on ice: 13:22
    Shots:5
    Hits: 2
    Blocks: 1

I watched him for the entire 13:22 and he was wandering around in the ice more than I thought a forward would. Maybe that’s actually what they do when they don’t have the puck? It felt like he was always in the wrong place at the right time and avoided the puck or an opponent. I’m not convinced that he is actually contributing as much as others say he is after tonight performance. Maybe it really was just an off night for him. 🤷‍♂️

All I want for Christmas is a team that can score with regularity (and not take dumb penalties)

You decide if I’m talking about the Predators or Titans.

That was an awesome 20 minutes of hockey from the Preds. Excellent game by Saros, too bad the preds don’t have that killer instinct to ramp things up like the avs did in the 2nd half of that game

If only granny hit that empty net FUCK

    Hopes go up…..

    Hopes go down.

Eh, we were due for a regression back to .500 after beating Oilers and Hawks.

Positives: Duchene is looking good, *gasp* Cody Glass is a stud when you play him regularly and let him jel with his line mates, Juuse (formerly known as Pekka) still a beast. Novak has been a huge boost to the offensive production.

Negatives: dumb late penalties (Joey) and Fabbro still a defensive liability. Fil seems to be in a funk.

Neutral: I love Mikael Granlund. The guy sets up so much and scores clutch goals. But he also misses on ones that should be automatic. He is somewhat frustrating but I still love him.

Well got a point I guess. Could have been a win, but can’t let a team like the Avs control the zone they’ll score.

Merry Christmas everyone! Except Compher you should be getting coal.

It had to be Nashville Predators legend Sammy Girard to score in OT.

Granlund has to bury that shot late in the 3rd.

Frustrating outcome because they played well enough to win, but I guess take the 1 point from a Colorado game and move on.

Would be unfair to say I didn’t like the Turris trade at the time. But it’s just so funny how GWG goes to the stud prospect Poile traded for a guy that he had to buy out and is still paying today to not play.

Things are so bad the window is so long gone and still nothing changes.

Wheel of Morality, turn turn turn / Tell us the lesson that we should learn. Moral 8: John Hynes isn’t necessarily a bad coach. Lavi was fired after two seasons with a winning record. Missed the playoffs 3/4 times with his new team after that. So just because we think the coach sucks doesn’t mean we should fire him. It’s not him not performing out on the ice.

  15. Rinne4Vezina

    Cody Glass: Awesome

    Tommy Novak: Awesome

    Juuso Parssinen: Awesome

Call me crazy, but let’s give Egor a shot. He looks huge on the ice, plays the physical game that Hynes seems to love in Smith, but also scores.

You know who really won tonight? Me. I just found a team issue MiC 54 away jersey in the Locker Room and I got that sweet 20% discount.
