such a paltry return for a still productive d-man in the top 4 (54 pts last season) who took on more of a defensive role (44.3% OZ starts) WITH the SJS retaining 33%.
who does this CAR guy think he's kidding. Lorentz is a 4th liner. a 3rd round pick is weak. they got a 2nd and a 3rd iirc for Braun a couple of seasons ago.

The thing about Burns is he can also play forward for Carolina. If his defense ever becomes a liability, he’s still a beast of a player to deal with.
