The Leafs should be beyond statement games in the regular season. A team like Tampa doesn't have statement games in the regular season. The playoffs are the only time this team needs to make a statement.

The whole psychology part of the video is very true. I share the same thoughts as Sammy, I kinda grown to just enjoy the ride with this team. After the loss to Tampa last may I just can’t keep emotionally living and dying by each game. I still care (a lot) but at the end of the day its entertainment and I just want to enjoy the team that we’ve never had like this before with the leafs. Go leafs go!

Look at the heights and weights of Tampa’s players and look at it for the Leafs players. It’s crazy the difference. Especially on defence. It’s no shocker that they’ve been to 3 straight finals. They’re built for it. I’ve always said with this leafs team that if a playoff series ends in 4 or 5 games they win. If it goes 6 or 7 they lose. They wear down as the series goes on. Being the nail hurts.
