Wes McAuley is a bad ref who loves attention and does nothing but make cringey calls on the mic when he gets it. Will never understand why anybody likes him
I thought for sure they had no chance after the announcers mentioned that they were 13-0 after scoring 4 goals. Then they also talked about how this was a close game, “playoff style” and a “must win” and I thought that sealed the deal for sure, but they fucking DID IT! And in OT for that matter!

Absolutely embarrassing officiating tonight. blues could’ve murdered one of our guys and we would’ve gotten a penalty for getting too much blood on the ice.
Gritty win. Road game, on the West coast, after Christmas break, this would have been any easy game to see get away, and one the Leafs would probably have lost 4-1 in years prior.
This Leafs team after the slow start the first few games seem so much better at winning those games that just felt like they would be traps/losses in the past. We’ll see how that goes vs Arizona. That’s a game you virtually MUST win.
