Magic couldn't get a rythem going in this game. I thought the 3s would start falling in the second half and they never did. Laker got confident and ran away with it. Good thing for the magic is all the teams right above us Washington, Toronto, bulls, Miami, Atlanta all have tough games coming up. For example the magic should win the next two, Toronto, bulls, Washington all should lose their next two games against top teams. The magic and Washington play Friday they should have the same record going Into that game. But just looking at those teams schedule and the magic schedule the next two weeks we should move ahead of atleast 2-3 of those teams if we win the games we should. Bulls play like Milwaukee, and the nets back to back as another example. I think Toronto plays 3 tops teams in the next week. Etc etc.

The Magic are in a peculiar position. Lots of young talent, so their defense will be pretty poor and the offense will be inconsistent for another season or two. Nobody knows if any of their young guys will develop into a legit #1 option (for a contender). Their coaching is either really bad (substituting out hot players and pulling their best defenders when the other team struggles to score) or they are intentionally tanking to have a chance at a high lottery pick next year. Or both. Talent-wise, this is a low seed playoff team. It'll be interesting to see how/if they develop into a serious threat.
