Jacob Chychrun is the only answer. We can easily get it done. Casey Middlestatd, Victor Olofsson, 1st in 2024, 2nd in 2023, Erik Portillo. More than enough. May not even need the first.
I'm not looking at acquiring ANY forwards, we have a slew of them almost ready to make the jump up. I'm looking at picking up a couple of solid blue liners for a total of $3-4M/year
I don't think Adams needs to spend money for this season. If he re-signs Okposo in the offseason it will be 1/3 of what he is making now. Rn I think Granato is giving all the guys the chance they need to effectively give Adams proper numbers for next year. There will be a lot of signings and keeping some vets around at a low cap hit is a must.
I would not trade any futures for a short term fix at the trade deadline, even those who might not sign (Portillo, Johnson?). I would like to trade for a defenceman who is good in his own end that has term or RFA status.
Nope don't want or need anything lets see where we end up. This off season will be interesting
I'd take a tough defensemen that can hit.
