  1. If Bear is top four on your D and couldn't even crack the top seven in Carolina that is all you need to know

  2. this Christmas I wondered:
    How's Jim Benning doing?!
I really hope he's got a hobby like gardening, painting or crocheting!!! Perhaps even pottery (Ghost scene visions 😬)!!!

  3. I think a video looking at teams that did "tear it all down" would be interesting. When did they commit to the rebuild, how long did they take to get back in the playoffs, and how successful were they in the long run.

  4. The oilers and Canucks need to join forces. That’s how either team can finally win the cup.

  5. I thought I read an article somewhere about Pavlov's dog getting into a fight with Scrodinger's cat.

The story sure rings a bell, but I can't remember if I really saw it or not… 🙁

  6. As a Canucks fan it's nice to finally see them winning a couple of games. If the Canucks manage to get the wild card spot, I don't feel confident with our blue line when playoffs comes around the corner…. That's if the Canucks make the playoffs.

  7. Hughes needs to go.Miller and Boeser ,Pearson,Amman,Poolman,Dermott,Myers and Burroughs too.

  8. Lightning and rangers gave up on Miller for a reason he's toxic piece of shit book Miller

  9. Okay hear me out.
Brock and Connor and a pick to Buffalo for Asplund and Fitzgerald and picks back? It instantly makes Buffalo better and relieves almost 11mil in cap space

  10. Canucks gonna trade jt and loose bo to free aganecy😂 classic Canucks

  11. I really didn't like the Canucks lack of effort to hang on to effective penalty kill specialists. Hilarious that this team consistently let's go of assets one year, only to realize how essential those assets were to the team soon after, scrambling to fill self made holes and overpaying. Hoping they try to stay in it, would be nice to watch them in the playoffs one last time with my Grandpa, even if they don't make it far.

  12. I think it's way to early to write off any team until there's more than 4 points needed when there's only 16-18 points or so left to play for. I know the first half is often telling how it will end but I can see both Sea and Cgy have stretches at ,500 going forward.

  13. Yes, the cat is alive and dead at the same time, so it's a good analogy. Höglander was an early second-round choice, and some at the time even thought it was a steal because he could have gone late in the first. He'd scored that Michigan goal, began his career in promising fashion, so it is surprising that he's descended to the no-finish category. Podkolzin is another puzzle for me, a young player with a good attitude and a great shot who seemed to be making strides, then suddenly vanished. It really makes you wonder about psychology, home life, coaching, injuries, luck, all of that stuff.

  14. Well I hope they do because they're your team and because I have a soft spot for the Canucks. I like the orca logo and the sweaters 🙂

  15. I know it's too late to talk about it now but I always said the Canucks should have traded JTM when his stock was high. No hate against the guy, it just would have been a good business move for the long run.

  16. Hey Shannon I have a question, if the canucks sell at the deadline, do you still see them possibly squeaking in the wildcard slot given the end of their schedule isn't really gonna be tough with good teams taking off the last few weeks

  17. I was watching the Canucks last night and was like….. huh? What am I doing?

now ur telling me they could actually make the playoffs?

  18. When you don't make any upgrades to the weakest portion of your roster (defense) you can't be surprised with the weaknesses that keep popping their head up.

  19. Selling is going to really difficult for any team this year because so many are close to the cap and it's only going up by $1M. People complain that Allvin has only made deals at the bottom of the roster (with the exception of Mikheyev) but that's because of the cap. And what about Horvat? Who can fit in a $9M free agent? 3 teams: Arizona, Buffalo, and Anaheim. Just ask Miller why he signed for less than a 100 point centre?

  20. At this point kuzmenko has been more effective than boeser and shows more upside so he should be getting at least 6.5. But a problem for kuzmenko is this is his first nhl season so he won't have any sway in bargaining his contract. If he continues to play this way I could see 6M for 3 years

Even when Garland is at his best he doesn't finish cheques. He's so worried about being sneaky and interceptions that whenever he has an opportunity to lay a hit or finish a check he just spins away, I want him traded

  21. I don't think tanking is an option for this team, and being at their level of play and having no cap space is killer. It's a recipe for long term mediocrity.

  22. Yes , pay Horvat 9 million . . . Not if you check out last year and the years before . He has just floated until his contract year , do you want that kind of player ? Not on my team , offer the same 5.5 if he refuses he gets to go free market and will soon find his true worth . Few teams are dumb enough to offer nine million on a player having an above ( his average ) year on his contract year . If you check his past he has not earned nine million . He knows it, his agent knows it , but what the heck , try a bluff, Canucks are famous for over paying so-so players while going cheap on budding superstars.

  23. I'm not a GM at any means whatsoever. But if they tear it down should they keep Petterson, Horvath and 1 goalie(who ever is best after season) and rebuilt to those players?

  24. I just finished a video game trilogy that used Schrödinger’s cat multiple times and here is THG using it for the Canucks. The simulation is real.
