I really think he was trying to dump the puck in the corner and not score. I don’t think he really wanted to break the record on an empty netter. But it’s good to get that one out of the way. The legend continues. So does he break it in ‘23-24? Or ‘24-25? Most likely the latter. Ticket sales will be through the roof to get a glimpse of history.
