    If the bruins do trade for horvat and it does cost a roster player and a pick I hope they extend him because that's a steep price for just a rental

    I could see Boston giving up a defensive prospect and Mike Reilly for next to nothing in return to free up some space. They have a couple of very interesting kids coming up. They probably wouldn't move Lohrei but they might move Ty Gallagher.

    Be amazed if Canucks did not insist that Brandon Carlo be part of the package. He's exactly what they need on the blueline, as a starting point. Long as the B's realize they're looking at 8M/yr for a long term. Might be a sign and trade scenario, or B's allowed to negotiate a deal with Horvat before pulling the trigger. Panthers have to do something soon, their playoff hopes are fading a bit. Reinhardt would generate interest for sure. JT Miller… needs to get his act together.

    If the Bruins cannot get a deal done with Pastrnak, could Horvat, be option B for the Bruins. i am starting to have my doubts that a Pastrnak deal can get done. in my opinion, a Pastrnak deal would have done during training camp.

    Horvat will end up wherever they offer picks and young players. Unless these teams have those they wont be dealing Horvat anywhere. It will come from a team that wants to win this year. I think he will be a rental to some team thats for sure.
