  1. Hi guys,
Great game tonight. Nice to see the boys step up without Leon in the line up. His possible lingering injury is a bit worrying.

  2. Get two solid D and the team is set to inflict damage all the way to Lord Stanley's holy Cup

  3. McDavid is just a spectacular hockey player! Will win multiple awards trophies this year..Best in the world and its not even close

  4. Great win tonight. Let’s rest up quick and pound the Jets Saturday!!!!!!!

  5. Best 1st period of the season.
Sloppy thru the last 2 because they had it in the bag, shut it down better.

  6. Thanks guys, great rundown of tonights game! Should be a good game tomorrow. I imagine we will see Campbell.

  7. The NHL has become a farce when it comes to its superstar players. McDavid was almost put out of action for a long time in the last game (by a blatantly filthy knee-on-knee hit) – and the NHL doesn't think there is a problem. Draisaitl "was" put out of action for a while (probably by an intensely dangerous hit into an open bench door/gate) – and the NHL doesn't think there is a problem. … Any team that plays the Oilers – and their two best players in the world – has no hesitation at all in trying to cheap shot them or injure them. Weegar's and Lindholm's actions were cheap, filthy and basically condoned by the NHL.

  8. Kostin with a very Kassian ish looking goal. He's been good all along and is getting better by the month. So nice to see a player with some edge on this soft overall team. JP gets rewarded and he sure deserved it. I'm not a huge Bouchard fan, but he still looked way better then Schultz..Lol, wow.

  9. Hey, look what happens when they don’t take the foot off the gas. Great start to the game, and never let up. What a win.

  10. Hyman is our new Smyth, always sitting by the net waiting to capitalize on shots. I love him.

  11. Would the real #25 please stand up, please stand up.
Yes, Nurse has possibly, finally returned to form?😉👍

  12. Bouchard looked scared a few times- i.e. racing towards/chasing pucks in corner & getting beat.

  13. @Points – I guess Woody chooses to coach stars and Hakstol coaches a team? Whatever stars never win titles o Seattle doesn't have enough good material. Surely the semi-finals are realistic for both teams as they play now. Up to Woody on what's more important, McD wins points records or if the Oilers should win the cup. I guess its harder to succeed with both

  14. Boys the rest of the team will contribute if they can play more than 10 min a game. What is stopping this are poor starts and getting behind in games. Also, interesting stat is starting to develop. The Oilers have allowed a goal in the opening 2 min of the second for I believe 5 or 6 straight games.

  15. Gave the Kraken a shellackin' and I'm here for it all day. Hope they bring the same work ethic to the WPG game.

  16. Great add Bruce but also let's look at a side by side comparison of ice time. Also, look at games, like this game, where we were able to roll 4 lines and provide the bottom 6 with some meaningful minutes to score. I sound like a broken record but no one is correlating the lack of secondary scoring to "chasing games", penalties, lack of 60 min play etc all of these issues results in JW having to shorten the bench. These are the real issues.

  17. Little comparison here between RNH and Huberdeau, both top 3 picks in the 2011 draft.
RNH: 45 points this year in 37 games, career 0.76 points-per-game, playing better than ever, long-term contract at 5.125m.
Huberdeau: 25 points in 34 games, career 0.90 PPG, looking mostly slow and ineffective this year, long-term contract at 10.5m.

Who is the better value and who would you rather have?
