Having an overabundance of well-performing defensemen is a very strange feeling. I'm not quite sure I know how to react. I definitely don't envy Sheldon trying to pick and choose as players return to the lineup.

Timmins has played well and doesn't deserve to be out of the lineup when Rasmus comes back (and Sandin certainly deserves to play). Personally, I'd rather see Holl and Rielly come out of the lineup and put Timmins and Rasmus (or even Benn) in. But that will never happen. Rielly and Holl drive me nuts… yes, overall they might play a decent game but in that game they make some real head-scratching (and costly) decisions that just shouldn't happen with their experience. I find Rielly highly overrated.
