My wife was spot on when she said tonight that this is what's been missing for the past several years. The recent crop of sorry posers occupying the Sabres uniforms and offices simply don't care enough about their craft or where they are plying it. Hopefully that begins to change with the current housecleaning.

Ryan is such a class act, played his heart out, didn't make excuses, and almost took a injury riddled sabre defense to the stanley cup finals. Never wore the "C" but was a true leader and was respected inside and outside the locker room. Welcome to Buffalo Owen!
