This group of Sabres players are something really special that I haven't seen in a very long time. Alex Tuchs post-game interview had me slightly choked up as it was so refreshing to hear a player genuinely say how proud he is to be a Buffalo Sabre. The way things were not long ago I wasn't sure we would ever find a group talented players that puts their heart and soul into playing for Sabres and not act like it was a stepping stone team to lead themselves into a bigger market. Kevin Adams philosophy of finding guys that want to be here is paying off and seeing this team grow has been such a pleasure.
luck was on our side today, and UPL stood tall in the face of the many grade A chances the Bruins had around our net.

Wayne ,lots talent on this young team . It also looks like the light has come on with UPL. Love watching the skill of this team . Krebs really showed some guts to drop the gloves. Let’s hope that the GM makes the couple moves needed it for this team to contend for a playoff spot .
The veterans showed their craft, from over dramatizing their drawn penalties, how long was carlo on the ice till he could get some blood going? To three man press on the puck, relentless… The bears wanted this game badly…. Lots of small dirty tricks… Lots of forcing their bodies between our guys and the puck in most contested plays… All that effort showed on the bench, in the faces of the veterans getting off the ice, sucking air, they played so hard…. Yet our boys, though sometimes outplayed, never, never quit… And kept playing their own game, not getting sucked into playing bruin hockey, until the kids started getting it right ! Some day these kids are going to be really good!!! Go Sabres..

Game here in southern Ontario was the Bruins feed( cant stand Jack Edwards) so I watched the game with the sound OFF until Tuch scored in OT and then I almost had a Fred Sanford heart attack as Jack Edwards gave the Sabres a compliment !!. He said , " Buffalo has now won 6 games in a row and they are for REAL !"
Krebs was fantastic today and he has been impressive as centre on the 4th line with Girgenson & Okposso ! Hopefully Granato keeps this line together.
Hopefully we can face the Bruins in the 1st round of this years playoffs!

The perseverance by Buffalo on that 5-3 was unbelievable. They were the better team.

Ngl, I turned the game off a couple times (when we took bad penalties. The team had good defense this game. UPL a couple from Boston. He is making me believe and seeing Comrie sent to Amerks for conditioning seems to be that management is feeling the same.

This season reminds me of the 2005 season
This was the game of the year. All game I was looking at the hits, and we kept up in that department and is a big reason why we stayed in this thing and won the game. You were correct saying we need to hit to beat these types of teams and we did. I’m to excited about this win let’s go buffalo!

My buddy was a hockey player and got me into the nhl. I asked him who was the worst team and he said the Sabres. That was right when we traded for Wayne simmomds and dominik Kahun right before covid hit. This was the best game we have played and I’ve watched a lot of the Sabres the past 2 and a half years. Man we have something.

The boys lead the league in scoring and are so young. It's scary to think about really, how good will this team end up? It's so refreshing that for the first time in years when I turn the game on I'm confident the boys can win regardless of who they're playing

I agree that the fight and determination shown by Krebs showed how much the boys wanted this game and was an excellent look at what could be going forward. Great game, 4 points by Tuch, tremendous play by him and Cozens to get the tying goal and then the two of them combine for the game winner! WOOHOO
Best overall game they played this year. It seemed like Boston couldn't keep up with them….when we play these older teams it shows. I loved the way they hit…..wish they would continue that. UPL is playing amazing…..keep it up !
