Luke offensively and in transition has been 10/10 but he struggles on odd man rushing against and just gap control in general. Still a work in progress but his ceiling is still stupid high

Watching the juniors are we still happy with Nemec as our 2nd overall pick? Wouldn’t mind Cooley but I know we need the defence

Nemec and Hughes both look amazing but irresponsible. Like, you can’t even buy that sort of talent if you wanted to, but they have some defensive consistency to work on. Offensively they are savants.

Hughes skates and plays in the O zone like the talent he’s been hyped to be. His defensive game is very suspect.

Nemec was disappointingly good. I would expect someone of his reported talent and experience to dominate the kids in this tournament, and he didn’t do that. He was just good.

Cooley looks legit. He is almost certainly the better player. Still not sure he would have been the better pick given our situation, but maybe that’s a self protection mechanism talking there.

We got good one year too early. Bedard is going to completely turn some lucky franchise around.

Petr Hauser has 4 points, may become a productive grinder.

Vilen led all skaters in TOI for his team. Has become a really nice D prospect.

Hauser is playing well for a really strong squad.
