Win or die by one goal. Calgary flames 2023 tm

  2. Hard to win a 7v6. They played well though so move on and forget about this one.

  3. _sunburn

A decent game against a top team. Onto the next one

  4. Straight-Plate-5256

That was a pretty good game from both sides but STOP FUCKING LOSING

  5. Vensamos

For the record we hit another two posts in that game.

    We’re cursed

  6. natenicholson

Good game by mangi and backs

If you look at the expected goals by the flames it was a pretty good team effort. That said, as much as I would’ve liked the win, I’m not too ruffled by this loss.

    GFG

Tie game late you gotta get a point outta that one,

Good game but not good enough

  8. Defiant-Gap-7595

Good game against a good team

  9. speers11

The NHL should not be recruiting refs from nursery rhymes.

  10. Chronixx

They played good enough to win. Just need to bury those chances, everyone looks snakebitten. On to the next one

Not that bad of a game. Some bounces went the Jets way tonight, not ours. Sucks. Hellebuyck played well for them.

    Just win the next game.

That was a great game. I love the way our team is trending. The only real worry I have is the power play. It needs to produce more. Also fuck the refs.

  13. DromedaryGold

How we all ways out shooting and not winning? Lol

    Another one goal loss…

It’s very fun the team decided after 16 minutes that Phillips wasn’t worthy of an nhl spot, but instead a player who hasn’t been top 6 caliber since 2017 should get continued chances with two of our best forwards. Could’ve used an extra goal tonight. Glad one of our top 3 lines was all but useless because the team does not want to slot players properly. Definitely how model organizations run themselves in 2023.

Backlund was a total beast last night. Could’ve had 3-4 goals with some of the chances he had. I’m a little concerned with tanev’s play… he’s just looked “off” all season.

This game reminded me of the Edmonton game on the 27th. We got some good scoring chances and outplayed the Jets for the most of the game, it just came down to Winnipeg getting a bounce and we would be going to OT.

Also, watching this subreddit argue amongst themselves is damn embarrassing in the game thread, this year the fun has really been sucked out of this place even when we’ve been playing so much better over the past few weeks, guess « tHat’S rEDdiT » for you.

Edit: Hey we’ve got a serial downvoter here, this just keeps getting better and better.

Thought the boys played well. Game had a playoff feel to it. Feel like we’ve been on the bad side of some questionable calls late in the game a lot this year. I think I heard the announcers say we had twenty-three 1 goal games going into tonight.. that’s nuts. We’re playing good hockey

  17. likethemouse

We should rename to The Calgary Posts

  18. Sufficient-Cookie404

Really exciting game. Power play really needs a damn shakeup! It’s stale as hell, and getting nothing done at all. Should work on shooting for real, and passing, specifically in our own zone.

We look a hell of a lot better than we have in a while, wish we won – but it was a good one!

I’m really tired of coming into these PGT’s feeling like we played pretty well overall but still lose by 1 goal.

  20. tristan1616

Puck luck for us is nonexistent and hitting the post is nearly guaranteed every game now. Big sad.

  21. raspoutine049

Two phantom penalties. We never seem to get any calls in our favour ever since Wideman hit.

  22. keeper3434

    .880 save percentage isn’t enough.

  23. No_Cycle5101

Boys played good we lost that happens move on
