  1. LETS DO THIS THE CULT OF HOCKEY PODCAST BY THE FAITHFUL AND FOR THE FAITHFUL also first

  2. Kostin finally up in what appears to be a full time top 6 position. I have no idea why that took so long. Brutally amazing. He should have been top 6 or top line a month ago at least. Yes nice win against a really average club, but this is suppose to be a "contender". The next 2 weeks are going to be extremely telling about if this team can yet make the playoffs.

  3. NYI really didn't look good at all… I don't know that the OIL did anything out of the ordinary. Let's face it… another PP goal, really a weak goal through the wickets from Yamo, and an unexpected goal from the deep slot by Holloway. The script is that this team needs to win on the PP and get secondary scoring from a long cast of underachievers. That happened and the OIL won. But how long until 56 and 55 get on the board again? I really want to believe. Right after Clutterbuck's fabulous tip past Campbell the NYI came down and clanked one off the post past Campbell that would have quickly tied things up.
But I guess that would be looking at a glass half empty. A win is a win. On Saturday the AVS are in town. Let's talk again after that one…
My good thing: 21 Klim Kostin I noted that it didn't take him long to appear one time when McD didn't like being roughed up behind the NYI net. Nice to see. And he got off a couple of quick shots from the slot that didn't score, but could have. He was hard on the puck all game.

  4. Sportsnet is always my bad thing…damn blackouts. Tonight, they listed the game as tennis, or Sports Central or something, so I only caught the last 3 minutes of the game because I didn't think it was on tv. Then, during the last faceoff, they didn't start the clock until a few seconds after the pick was dropped. Me and my son both noticed it.

  5. Oilers in real tight contest w CGY NASH COLO StL for those 2 WildCard spots… They have a chance. Watching that 1st Islanders goal by Barsal is telling… McLeod & Pulju very complacen/content to coast behind the play & watch it – no clue what they should be doing??? Great win – basically 4 teams tied for 2 playoff spots.

  6. coaches really need to take these Coaching opportunities; w Pulju & McLeod… to play the tape… ask them what they are thinking in just coasting… who they think is a scoring risk? who they should check? how they can impact the play (ie skate)? they can learn… it ok to be tough! Very approp to bench Foegele… another one that typically is invisible

  7. There's no reason these guys can't out and play like this every game. They just have to want it enough.

  8. Broberry blah blah blah Broberry blah blah blah Broberry blah blah blah…..🤭🤭🤮

  9. Sure hope this continues … it was estimated today (based on last season) that the Oilers will need to go at least 24-13-5 just to make the playoffs.

  10. Who is Philip Broberry???
Why do you guys insist on butchering his name? Is it an inside joke? Because it's beyond tiresome at this point. Can anyone explain this?

  11. Bruce is right about SN. I will add to his point with they constantly miss fights, scrums or roughing. Sometimes when they catch it the camera moves off of it and sometimes they don’t even show replays. To not show why a person get a penalty is unacceptable.
