@Coyotes de l'Arizona

  1. If they move, do you think the dominoes will fall on Carolina? Bettman previously said they were committed to the market "like they were committed to Phoenix," but if Arizona moves on their own accord then I doubt the NHL bails another team out again. So unless the Canes find a local buyer that can nearly match Quebec (unlikely), I'm thinking this move could foreshadow the Canes' future.

  2. Hopefully this is true. Then Quebec should get a team and everything is all good! I would say that Columbus and Florida should move as well, but they're getting fan support now with how good they've been doing, so forget it.

  3. I think Seattle would be granted an expansion franchise for the NHL. Bettman isn't willing to give up on Phoenix yet. The issue with Seattle is the Arena. There isn't an Arena capable of holding an NHL team, and Taxpayers have repeatedly turned down bills to build one.

  4. The owner has repeatedly said that the franchise is to stay in Arizona as the potential is growing in the last couple of years

  5. Portland is the best option, it has the Moda Center where the Blazers play that they frequently turn into a rink for the Portland Winterhawks. So there won't be a learning curve on how to make that work. Plus like thirty feet from the Moda Center is the Memorial Coliseum, which if the city accepts the bill in progress, will be renovated to be able to host an NHL Caliber team. The only road block is Paul Allen, he likely won't ant any competition with his Blazers.
    Seattle will be the city they just deal with because they have no other option. Their only arena is the Key arena, and it isn't suitable for a hockey team at all.
    Both cities will receive an NHL team with wide open arms though, Both have a WHL team in the Winterhawks and Thunderbirds respectively, so there is already a hockey fan base. That and added with Northwestern USA pride we have here…Any professional team in the NW will instantly be a favorite for us, just because they're our hometown heroes.
    I would love to see the Coyotes come to Portland, I've been wanting an NHL team here for years now. If they went to Seattle…then I'll be making several road trips still.

  6. No offence but your kinda wrong arizona has a great future in terms of rookies, perlini is doing great. So is dvorak, chychrun, keller fischer. And there is a ton of young guys who can still improve, domi duclair deangelo reider martinook domingue

  7. Paul Allen please bring the NHL to portland you know every game is a sell out and you make bank

  8. It has been a sad forced marriage between hockey and Arizona from the moment they got hitched in '96. America West Arena was barely able to fit an NHL sized rink. Then the new arena they moved to was not in Phoenix. Ownership hot potato.

  9. Arizona isn’t moving lol. Gary Bettman and most importantly Andrew Barroway are committed to AZ. 6th largest city and (growing)media market in the US. Seattle’s only chance is expansion. This team is on the verge of turning it around on the ice and with that, more success. Attendance rising, hockey growing in the state, Vegas success shows hockey can and will stay in the desert.

  10. One of my first videos that I watched of yours last year. Awesome jersey BTW.

  11. Now that Seattle has the Kraken; I think the Arizona Coyotes options might include Portland, Oregon. It would become an instant rivalry.
