That was morgan rielly best game since coming back from injury. He was a monster tonight. For the love of god keep him on pp1 he is perfect for those guys.
It’s amazing how much better the goaltending is when all five guys play defense
Looking like Matthews may only lose by 60-70 points to McDavid for the scoring title.
Get the man $15m
Shitroit Red Wings 1
TORONTO MAPLE LEAFS 4
Sammy 8-1-1 in the last ten
Great bounceback win! Sammy played good 🙂
HUGE bounce back game from Samsonov. So fucking pumped for him!
Seattle scored eight tonight which makes me feel a little better
My favourite part of the game was the part where the blue team had more goals than the red team.
It was Team Canada World Juniors Alumni Night to celebrate the gold!!!
I was ready to trade Rielly even tho he wasn’t on the ice for the first goal because our D sucks since he got back lmao 🤡
GO LEAFS GO
Smiles are back on the menu 🙂
Amazing game team-wide. Happy for Sammy! He looked fantastic.
It was hard to pick my favorite player tonight. The Captain netting two was nice to see. Samsonov played his tail off at a much needed time for our G’s. But it was probably the coolest to see Morgan Rielly play well. Hopefully it is a return to form for him. GLG!
ETA: And of course my everyday favorite Leaf, Mitch Marner getting 500!
Look at my comments earlier this morning
I said 4-1 final! Damn should had bet!
Smiles. And Ottawa getting speedbagged. An awesome Saturday night.
Solid 2 period by the boys, Sammy great bounce back game and Marner on track to join Fifa world cup 2026 team Canada
Leafs record vs Red Wings since 2017: 18-1-2. It’s just bullying at this point
The Leafs dominance against the Wings continues and Sammy was excellent tonight, plus Marner gets his 500th point
And the lord said let there be smile
I’m always tough on Morgan, but he looked solid and confident tonight. He’s doing the right things from his position on the offensive blueline. I just worry a bit about his ability to defend. Especially net front presence.
Reassuring win. Sammy needed that.
Sloppy first period gave way to two pretty solid periods
