When the U.S. loses to Canada at the WJC, they get bent out of shape and make excuses? Really? Hypocrite much? I guess you're unaware of the crying and wailing that emanates from Canada when they lose to the U.S….especially for gold. Canada is the king of making excuses when it loses in hockey. Get real!

Leafs defense gotta let in atleast 8 shots on goal every period I've noticed the shots on Murray or Samsonov are usually under 20…they're cold standing in net for 5 minutes straight is not good
Now, the score was 5-1 and you have that kind of offensive power and you only score ONE goal? And you blame the goalie? The whole team sucked if you only scored one goal and let in five.

Why the Marlies put Ho Sang on the 4th line is beyond me…. The guy always had his head up and saw the whole ice infront of him….and when he had decent wingers was Gretsky-esk the way he could pass and/or hold onto the puck for another second so someone would get open to pass to.
I assume Marlies put him on the 4th line to make hime see what was behind him instead… LOL… Or they just didn't like the guy as a person.
Ho Sang is a pure SC1 or SC2 player. Total waste of his talent pairing him with 4th liners.

Hardest Minutes = PK Line , D-zone face-offs , paired against opponents heavy-weight line , etc.

Kerfoot always has a decent +/-…. 1st overall last year … Reilly was a -4 his 1st game back,,, Kerfoot was a +1 or +2 the same game.
Kerfoot shines in many plays up the ice,,, he just has had a wonky GF curse this season….. Not like him,,,, which actually gives me a strong feeling that he might explode in the 2nd half of the season … I am expecting a couple 2 goal games coming for him…. Especially now that Kampf, Engval and Kerfoot seem to have clicked as a unit.
Only reason why the Offense-only Reilly doesn't have an overall horrible +/- ,….. is because Brodie knows Reilly will flake out now and then every game, getting too deep in the O-zone…. So Brodie ALWAYS holds the blue line, and is talented enough to not let the opponents to ever get a break-away on him.
Last year, Brodie's TOI was often only 1 minute lower than Reilly's …..
Fact : Brodie & Reilly were the D1 pairing. = same minutes 5on5
Fact : Reilly gets the PP minutes..
Fact : Brodie and Holl, got the PK minutes ..
…. and you guys say Brodie cannot play the minutes ? LOL…
