Really strong game overall, the Preds are a good team and the type we’ve traditionally struggled with more than others (defensively strong, big, great goalie). Missing Brodie and Matthews, we still hung tight in a good defensive matchup.
Love seeing Nylander stepping up and being the best skater on the ice tonight, and timely contributions from our other big guns. Murray was unreal, nice to see him build on his performance from the weekend. This is a legitimately great team we have here, nice to see them pull out a win tonight.
Oh, and the missed call on the Kampf hit was inexcusable. Complete garbage, borderline suspendible hit that doesn’t get called even upon review.
Edit: Oh, and I liked McMann’s game. Wouldn’t mind seeing him on the fourth line with ZAR and Holmberg for a couple games.

The TNT Marner interview was legendary.
Listened to the Preds feed. As is almost always the case, I heard more knowledge, and praise, about the Leafs than I ever hear on our broadcast. The TNT team were especially complimentary of Tavares, Sandin, Marner and Murray…
Preds fans complaining about the refs when they ignored a fucking behind the back headshot. That should’ve been 5 and a game. Good job with that high sticking penalty to lose too, fucking morons.
That Gio dive in the third may have saved the game. Couldn’t save Reillys face though.
Leafs powerplant needs to get sorted out. It looks like how it always looks in the playoffs. Weak and stale. Kind of think the PP coach needs to be canned and bring in someone new.
