  1. Well thought out and some interesting depth options, but I hope they don't take any old vet free agents. Canucks never have any roster spots for their own young players. The team needs younger players. Jamming up the roster with people on their final pro contract is more Jim Benning.

  2. no to Schultz, unless the trade OEL, as he can man the second power play until, yes to Miller, but they would have to move people out to get him. so so on Reese. no to Tierney, unless they can move Dickenson.

  3. Lazar for bottom line….. Should be under 1 million….
Mikheyev for middle 6 wing and potential improvements to teams penalty kill, he would be up for a raise but at 26/27 in age, is he not worth what the team just gave Beagle for a contract 🤣
Max Domi, coming off some down NHL years… while making similar to what Miller does now, this is a player who opposite of Miller might come at a discount of his last cap hit while signing with some length. Let’s say 4.5 million a season for 3 years. Domi and Horvat had major success in 3 years together of junior hockey in London years ago. Horvat has been strapped with Pearson for years, this move alone could be huge!

I realize tho we can’t sign all the UFAs with such limited cap space…. IMO the Canucks d while finishing 8th in goals against last year is absolutely stacked. They also had the 30th ranked PK by the end of the season? So basically if the PK is anywhere near average or 15th? The goals against would’ve probably finished around top 5 in the league! Ya fans layoff the D and Goaltending, some of the best it’s ever been in Canucks history.

  4. Aube-Kubel, Lazar, Aston-Reese would be some good choices to fill out the bottom six, but they must be on the right term.

  5. I would not sign any of those guys, lol. I would go after guys that are around the 22-24 year old range on a two-way deal preferably, or a 1 mil per season two or three year deal. I would look for size and speed for both defense on the right side and for the third and fourth line forwards (all positions). We need grit and strength and checking. Our offense is really not a problem, however our pk is just sick (like the flu) and our pp is nonexistent, although both of those were markedly better with Bruce as coach. I really do not think we need to much, signing Miller would be a huge priority I would think, he is a foundational piece that we must have. We have some prospects that would benefit greatly from some minutes in the NHL to give them an idea of how much more work they have to do, or maybe they are ready and need the chance to prove it. Please, no more ridiculous FA signings!!! Please!

  6. Some great ideas… I want to see Myers moved, to make some Cap space… and Maybe 'nucks could have some more options. Cheers
