Classy, just like the way Aquilini and his family operate.

Are they just bringing him in as a poison pill to get players to waive their NTCs / NMCs? Or is this team just plain that stupid.

For the record: people can learn from past mistakes and grow from them as a person. This was just something that came up in the CBC’s recent Fifth Estate episode on sports gambling, so I felt compelled to share.

I don’t understand why we are targeting a failing coach for a failing team. He’s a .400 win % head coach in the NHL. How is this guy remotely the right guy to turn this team around and make playoffs next year – which sadly is exactly what Aqua is trying to do.

This franchise is an absolute abomination.

Rutherford hired him in Pittsburgh as an assistant

  6. There’s a reason why he’s been unemployed this far.

Not sure why anyone would want to join the Canucks right now, feels like a major gamb- ohhhh.

The guy was involved in gambling! Who’s to say he doesn’t gamble on sports events? They really are this fucked up! Why is there no NHL intervention here? This franchise will NEVER progress as long as Aqulini owns it.

Funny how, 15 years ago, sports gambling was a crime – and now they’re the NHL’s biggest sponsors!
