1 point behind Hurricanes for 2nd place in the league
Sharks are the 2021 devils LMAO
THANK YOU VITEK, THANK YOU JACK, AND THANK YOU MY FORMER ROOMMATE FOR TUNING IN RIGHT BEFORE JACK’S GOAL
Love Tatar going after the Sharks. Puck was well covered and cheap shot like that on Vanecek not cool.
BIG TUNA I FUCKING LOVE THIS TEAM
They did it!
The boys conquered California!
I love this team, and V2 is such a natural fit for the Devils, it’s like he’s been here for years.
Winning games they probably didn’t deserve to makes up for losing those games in December that they should’ve won. You love to see it.
Also on a side note, Bill Spaulding is doing great but if I have one small critique it’s that he relies on stats to carry some of the conversation too often (which Dano will shoot down sometimes when it’s warranted). I’m sure it’ll get better with time as he gets more games under his belt and i figure it just comes from his previous work calling all sorts of sports and teams where you don’t have much material to go off of other than stats you can look up beforehand.
We were utter dogshit for most of that, yet a win is a win! Thank you Devils legend Karlsson.
Can someone explain this herpes thing?
Vitek is a god and I will sacrifice anything his heart desires while simultaneously giving him the sloppiest toppy of all time.
Just sneak Timo out of the arena and take him with you…give him a fake mustache and sunglasses and pretend he’s Chico.
Shoot outs are so fun. I joined this game late which sounds like I made the right decision missing period 1 and 2 lol
Anyone know the last time we swept California? This feels like November again
Very happy we played what felt like our worst game of the season against San Jose.
Even happier that we pulled out two fucking points in that game.
The next game against Seattle is going to be huge.
I’m loving the January Devils.
I watched the game in it’s entirety and am now realizing that Nolan Foote played in this game. Quietest 3 min of ice time I can recall
V2 with some magical saves. Big win, guys!
How are the negative Nancy’s feeling now?
If the Sharks had better finishers the Devils should’ve lost 7-3.
But they don’t, and they didn’t.
Related: This was the first game I thought Smith actually played really noticeably badly. Most of the time I either haven’t caught his alleged trash games or its just people that want to find something to be miserable about.
Pacific Division may never beat us again.
Great game, but I admit I’m growing increasingly frustrated with Dougie Hamilton. Yea he can put up points, but I think he makes a lot of careless mistakes. In my opinion. Takes a lot of bad shots. And plays with very little tenacity.
Good teams find a way to win when they ain’t got it together.
WE’RE A GOOD TEAM.
Screw THG and his lame bitch ass placing us behind the Rags. JK
Except for a solid showing from Vitek Vanacek, I’m not sure what I just watched, yet the Devils still have a +40 goal differential, 2nd only to Boston’s crazy +72. But where are the November Devils for fuck’s sake? That entire month of November is what this team is capable of. Are they keeping it in reserve like a runner in a long distance race saving it for the end of the season and playoffs? Games like these give my pain meter a roller coaster I’d rather do without…
THREE CORNERS CHAMPIONS …
East Canada, West Canada and now California. I bet this is a record for a very long time to come.
Man even Tatar was like “yeah what the fuck” when matty brought up the 3 games in basically 3.5 days. They all knew that was bullshit and Fatigue definitely a major factor in this game for sure. Beautiful to get 2 points out of this
Tons of sloppy moments, practically shutout in the 1st for shots. They rallied when they needed to and credit for it, but this needs to be a bit of a wake-up call about letting the foot off the gas, though I know fatigue is an issue on a road trip.
McLeod had a really good game, Boqvist had some good shifts. Mercer continues to look great out of his mini-sophomore slump and Bratt looks like he’s coming back to form as well. Siegs straight up took one off the board. Nico and Hughes are absolute studs. Massive game from Vitek if that even needs to be said.
I kinda miss Zetterlund, I didn’t even see Foote on the ice so that seems like a waste. Will be interesting to see how they use that spot especially with Bastian coming back. Might be a rotation.
How many times could we have won it in the OT? Must have been a good 6 chances. Sevo must be kicking himself with his open net chance!
Cmon it wasn’t THAT bad. We managed to outshoot them and put pressure when we needed (aka when we were behind). Considering it’s a 3rd away game in 4 days I call it a fair display.
I would’ve still been happy with a point, but Tatar finally scored.
Ill be honest, I was having trouble believing when we took the too many men penalty with 3 left.
How we’ve been doing this without Erika is beyond me.

I will try to find a GIF for you good folks.
JACK HUGHES: SUPERSTAR.
My heart can only take so much. Thank God for VV.
See, Timo, you can be apart of this one day.
Let’s not kill the guys for being sloppy and out-of-sync on a 3rd game in 4 nights after a lot of travel and in an afternoon game. That’s going to happen sometimes. The important thing is they stuck with it, played much better in the second half than the first, and found a way to win. Now hopefully they get some rest and look fresher for Thursday’s game.
WHEN THE FUCK WAS THIS GAME???
