New York and Winnipeg both. They both completely rely on all star goaltending and it’s just so rare for a goalie to perform for the entire playoffs at peak performance.
Winnipeg is just not a very strong team, and New York’s entire game plan is: rely on Shesterkin completely, and our top 6 will score a couple goals… sometimes.
These set ups just aren’t sustainable for a playoff run.
Carolina has a solid team but nothing truly exceptional so it’ll not get surprising how they do in playoffs whether they make it far or don’t make it far.
As for the Stars, they are a very complete team. Great mix of veteran and young talent so they should go far as long as they don’t do what they did last year.
