1. Hi Gil—so let’s pretend this crap was acceptable. Let’s pretend someone came to the aid of Jg—especially with all the recent questionable hits and “concussions”. Let’s pretend we are a “ United” team. Let’s pretend we “Are in the hunt”! ——of all the games I’ve see this year—-this was truly the beginning of the end of this season. This is the beginning of “If they lose 3 and we win 3 and we have games in hand—-I’m done with those type of seasons. We have plenty of talent that is valuable to other teams—-just not valuable as a team. Let’s trade it away—-this moron Gm gave this group a chance——and added no help—-he’s a Gm moron——did not work. ——let me try and understand this—Romy slams couple guys hard all year—-gets jumped but we allow Jg to get clobbered—-by that prick and we stand around. And after—no penalty——and it’s ok? No boys that shit is not ok with me—-I’m so godamn done with the heart of this years Isles team. Anyone that disagrees—- I don’t give a shit!! This was cowardice—-Ty Gil for listening

  2. AND, how many times have we seen the Islanders get a clear breakaway in OT???? How many times have we converted?? We're a complete mess of a team

  3. The officiating was absolutely horrendous, if not questionable. But that wasn’t our biggest issue: where are our “top 6”? Do we have a top 6? If your getting production from you’re bottom 6 and D-men, YOU SHOULD BE WINNING. So incredibly frustrating.

  4. Look at the 1st lines of the last 5 cup winners. Than compare the isles first line and PP. Isles 1st line is a joke. Even if they make the playoffs, they will be dominated. Team is hopeless as long as lou is in charge. Also, lou will sell a1st+ prospect this deadline for a bum like palmeri, resign mayfield and set the franchise back 5 years. The organization is s joke. Laughing stock of the eastern conference..

  5. I hope you enjoyed this fiasco from your nap chair lou. You're flawed roster can't even win with a 3-0 lead and three games worth of goals. And another precious point gone bye bye. So obvious this is a lou/lane problem. A roster totally lacking nhl caliber talent. And a coach who lets his team get pushed around cause when push came to shove caps willed their way to win doing whatever they wanted to do scoring and physically. Caps didn't even fear isles even down 3-0 because they knew their big guns would score and isles have no big guns to worry about. Sure was different from when trotz isles completely shut down caps with d and physical will in the bubble. And I am not even gonna rant about the obvious need of this team anymore. No scorer would ever approve a trade to nyi. And lou is incapable of acquiring scorer or whatever else isles need. I hope isles tail spin badly the next six weeks to just to see what inactive lou does. And lane aint gonna last long once that happens. Lou loves throwing coaches under the bus to save his ass. A clean break from these two is needed. If sorokin doesn't save isles bacon they don't win. And if you take away isles 4 wins vs. lousy bj's they are 19-18-4. And with b's coming in next it looks like a 1-4 home stand. I am outta here…
