Oh no,now the Habs might not make the playoffs.

  2. wellpaidscientist

I watched the Florida game. What happened?

  3. Then_Original_1269

I have him in all my fantasy leagues 😭

  4. HumbleTardigrade

    They’re gonna get Bedard, aren’t they? 🫣

  5. hamfijita

Now you freaks have an even better chance for Bedard !

  6. ogfuelbone12

Damn. That sucks. Hoping for a speedy and full recovery.

  7. ronaldoversoul

Sucks for Montreal and Caulfield. I have had questions about his durability but this was a bit of a freak play. His diminutive status while advantageous on the ice in many respects is also liability.

I’ve forgotten what joy feels like

  9. RSlashLazy

No no no no he’s not not I refuse

  10. Grouchy-Bug5223

Man I really wanted him to crack 40 goals..

  11. I think it was the collision with Trevor Lewis a month ago.

  12. Bro my fantasy team has caufield, hintz, vilardi, letang, carlson and stone

Plus it has patty kane and jarry who had injuries for a bit

I am not having a good time rn

  13. LeditGabil

Yeah!!!!!! And the ONE game I bought tickets for this season is next Tuesday against the Bruins 🤦

  14. DevilJacket2000

Rough. I know the Habs weren’t going anywhere this year, but part of the reason to watch your favorite team be terrible is to see young players start to put it together.

  15. ImpressionableSix

He’s almost the only reason I’ve been religiously watching habs this season 💔

  16. MatesDolezy

Jokes aside, I genuinely hate young talented perspective players getting hurt like this… every game counts for Caufield at this point in his career

  17. ron_fendo

I too have a right shoulder injury, am I Cole Caufield? Is that how this works?!?

  18. immasaysmthstupid

Breaks my heart a little even though they’re not my main team 🥲

  19. Well so much for my countdown to 40 goals….

  20. Illustrious-Gain-863

Chop-busting towards Habs fans potentially getting Bedard from this aside, this news sucks. Caufield looks like a hell of a player and I don’t think anyone likes seeing someone get knocked out for the season, least of all an emerging young talent like him.

  21. livin4themoment

Montreal about to go full Bedard

  22. Hiph0p0p0tamusttv

NHL could have saved a little face having AM34 replace an injured Caufield, instead they robbed the fans and have egg on their face.

Sens fan and still feels bad man, loved what Marty was getting out of that kid.

  23. GuestUser1982

Tank for Bedard in full swing. Montreal scratching players, Vancouver demoralizing everyone to make them feel shitty about themselves.

  24. Tako-Jerome

This is unfortunate, but I’m glad that young players are given time to heal and not expected to just type it out in the weight of a short little career. There’s also think Chris is the likelihood of Montreal getting Bedard! and I am not a Canadiens fan but I would rather see him there so he doesn’t go to Chicago and further enrich that awful ownership group

  25. dreampack08

I’m sad about this. He’s becoming one of my favorite players in the league, and I hate Montreal. Him paired with Suzuki is my favorite line in the NHL.

  26. khornechamp

Sounds like a great way to tank the season even further, definitely believe them

  27. tbiblaine23

The one bright spot of the habs gone :/

  28. Hollandmarch76

I had him on one of my fantasy teams this sucks but more importantly I feel bad for him. He was having a breakout season.

  29. Responsible-Fox-9082

That just fucking sucks. It always sucks seeing the young talent get hurt. Best of healing to him. I want entertaining hockey and he certainly keeps it entertaining.

  30. ghostwalken1776

Damn, that’s shitty..but, it’s definitely the smarter option..if the season is lost, there’s no point trying to play through it or rehabbing it while injured if surgery is required..he’ll do rehabilitation before surgery and a ton after and he’ll be ready to go before the start of next season, which to me is the absolute no-brainer of a move…but hot damn does it suck, kid is something special.
