A triple V jersey earns my upvote, well done!
As a general aside, I remember picking up this jersey sometime in 1999.
So this jersey is older than Cozens, Krebs, Peterka, Quinn, Dahlin, Power and Samuelsson.

If I was going to pick any player to have on an original goathead, Varada would be right up there with Hasek, Barnes, Satan, Zhitnik and Peca.
One of my favorites. The Varada-Peca-Ward line might be the best Sabres checking line I’ve ever seen.
I once saw Varada and Smehlik shopping at the Wegmans on Transit in Williamsville. That was a cool day.
