The game was very dry till mid second period. There were a lot of shots, but no Canuck screening the goalie.
the Blackhawks don't deserve Mrazek, really they don't. Mrazek took 47(48th was empty net) shots while his team shot a pathetic 14. a 3.4 – 1 shots on net is pathetic, and Mrazek was really just the only reason they had even a sliver of a chance to win this game.
edit, thats a .914 save percentage on Mrazek this game, phenomenal game for him, his team though, really just butchering it.

На месте Андрея Кузьменко, во время переговоров о новом контракте, я бы постарался реально смотреть на свои возможности. Сейчас он играет с Петерсоном, и у них хорошее понимание, не факт, что в другой команде будет так же. И доверие тренера, и партнеры, и т.д. Свои интересы блюсти надо, но и реально смотреть на вещи тоже. Пока идет удачно – лучше играть одну из ведущих ролей в команде, играть в первых звеньях, а не ломаться в четвертом, или вообще сидеть на лавке, выходя по 5 минут за матч.

На месте генменеджера Ванкувера я бы в межсезонье капитально пересобрал состав. Ставку надо делать на молодое талантливое ядро: Петтерсон, Хьюз, Кузьменко. Оставить Михеева. А вот всех остальных (включая Хорвата) можно отпускать и обменивать на пики и молодых игроков. В этом составе Ванкуверу ничего не светит, защита так вовсе никуда не годится.
