It’s rly true tho, comrie gets no benefit of the doubt from anyone. People already have written him off, I think he’s good just needs to get into a rhythm again, I think he’ll have a good game tonight

Comrie had excellent stats that mysteriously dropped off when our defensive core got injured, I think he’s good and just needs starts

Like the Gordon Ramsey meme with him telling the child how great they are then calling the adult a donkey 😶

Truth.

Thing is, we don’t have a stud goalie. We’ve got three passable goalies who can make big saves, go on hot streaks, let in softies, go on cold streaks, and otherwise muddle through.
#1 -Anderson is 41, was great for years, but can’t hold up to a full season anymore and is likely to retire.
#2 – Comrie is 27 (for the sake of ***age*** comparison – Jacob Markstrom became a full time NHL starter at 27, as did Darcy Kuemper), with **40** NHL games played, a career .898SvPct, and coming off his best season ever where he played 19 games and had a .920SvPct.
#3- 6K is 23 with **32** NHL games under his belt. Spotting a career .905 SvPct (.899 this year).
If you add UPL and Comrie’s total games played it’s 10 shy of full season. Neither is so established an NHLer as to declare them anything. Ride the 3 goalie rotation, and by all means give 6K the bulk if he continues to be the best option. But it kills me to see people writing goalies off after a bad stretch. Shit happens people.
We have a year and a half left on Comrie’s contract, let’s let it play out for at least another year. So he couldn’t hold it down when our defense was Dahlin and a bunch of nothing – no one did! It’s the same point where the reactionary fans said Lukkonen was shit and would never amount to anything. He looked all right before then. Nearly beat Edmonton single-handedly. Was that a one off? – I’d like to find out for sure before putting him at the side of the road with a « free » sign on him.
